Make sure you get a ETC reader in your car. Kinda helps with the tolls, makes it easier.
@FirstLastOne Жыл бұрын
It does make it a lot easier but the first couple months you still think those damn little square gate arms are playing a game of chicken with you even though you're doing the recommended speed as you pass through. You're also thinking, what happens if the power goes out to my ETC reader just as I approach the gates? BAM!!! 😧😦😆😂

6:02 Josh, it's funny that you mention that driving in Japan is hard because every thing is on the other side when making turns and yet you've been driving right hand drive cars in the USA. The reason it's funny is because the hardest part for some like myself was trying not to use the wipers when signalling a turn or more painfully smashing my right knuckles into the closed window when quickly trying to reverse into a parking spot at a busy mall parking lot.

8:53 not trying to blow smoke up yer kilt or anything but when you do the walk around drooling over the red Fellatio, I was more impressed by your new R34. Where I am currently, Fellatios are a dime a dozen but the sweet lines of a R34 are as rare as hen's teeth. 🥰😍😘

9:45 chotto samui dad joke every time driving through Osaka heading up to Kyoto and I see any sign mentioning Suita is to make stomach noises and say onaka suita must be close. Or if you're 10, you can say OH, Nara exit is coming up. 😆😁 The Kansai region is comedy gold! Downtown was funny AF back in the late 90's early 2000's. 😉

Hi, my name is Ian and I am writing to you guys from south Florida, U.S.A. I am seriously interested in buying a Japanese import sportscar. I am looking for a Nissain Skyline R33, or R34. Question: Are these cars really that expensive? Should I go to Japan and purchase one of these cars and ship it back to America? How does this work, and how much does it cost? I always wanted to own one of these sportscars, American import laws for cars really SUCKS!!!!! Thanks for sharing!!😁😃👍👏

Japanese gasoline is probably that much because they tax emissions a ton like a lot of European countries (just a guess). It's a good thing, cuz eventually folks gotta stop driving combustion engineers for daily drivers. The fast lane is technical a law in many US states too, but so many people don't follow it or know. Hence one reason why driving in America sucks. No one's considerate of others. I use the left hand to pass and always go back if I can. I learned well I guess. 🤷♂️

Keep in mind the R32 was considered really wide when it came out and that the bulk of Japan's old towns/cities are built typically for K-car types, and yeah, that R34 is gonna be massive... Go to rural mountainous country side, and you'll find even the 86 could be considered wide in places...

12:07 fun fact, the reason there are so many 'old buildings' is because Kyoto was largely spared from the allied bombers during WWII and since then Kyoto has also put in place tough zoning and building requirements so you won't see any super tall buildings except for the Kyoto Tower. In a way, Kyoto sort of took a page out of Paris' building height rule book.
