Check your trans vin to see if it falls under the range for snap ring failure. If so, keep an eye out. Even if it has low miles, do the water pump/timing belt/ LMA upgrade if it hasn't. The C30 isn't cheap. That engine howls once you put a full exhaust on it and definitely helps pep it up. The oem headers are super restrictive. Also, the abs is prone to failing. amazing car once you get it set up. Check out T3Tec and R.F. Yamamoto.

Congrats on the gem NSX. I think you should keep it OEM+. They aren't "fast" by modern standards but when this first came out it smoked the super cars of the time. You've gotta love the Ayrton Senna connection too. Thanks for sharing, Josh!

I think the NSX was definitely the move, and I think you should keep it. See what you can do about grabbing the power steering pump, rack, and other components off a newer NSX and throwing them on yours. I really love the look of the NSX, especially if done right, and you always have great taste/style so I really want to see your take on how the NSX should look. Love the videos!

Congratulations on your NSX purchase my boy!!! I say keep it , at least lower it, kit it, and put some dope sick wheels. Upgraded exhaust system. That's if you don't plan on modding it. ITB's would be sick though. Also, as far as the 180 goes, you should definitely keep it silver, I love the way it looks in that color, maybe spray some pearl. The FD content was 🔥🔥🔥. Awesome video. At 26:23 It should be easy getting to the Alternator if it goes out without lifting the car to get to it unlike most other vehicles so that’s a plus 💪🏻

@E_ought. I have a 91 NSX and although there is no "Power Steering" it shouldn't be too heavy to steer. I love my NSX and don't have the issues I see you're having. As far the the AC, my AC blows cold but not strong enough even with it fully charged. Not sure if it was a failure in design but my other friend with NSX have the same issue. As far as speed it's not "Fast" no days because things have changed since the 90's. I would say the selling point if the fun factor of driving, still fast enough to get a speeding ticket, and 110% sexy to drive and modify; definitely a keeper. As I've commented on one of you're past videos of the NSX jacking points, they suck and look cheap but that's how Honda made them so don't be surprised by the cheaply welded jacking point under the car. Congrats on your purchase.

Bro, you’re gonna have so much fun with the NSX. Talk about unique upon unique. Car built out of aluminum, with interchangeable body panels (including rear quarters) , so you can switch up the look with no hassle. A couple upgrades to bring it into the 21st century, such as the brakes and you’ll be mint! Like biggie said “We did it!” Congrats bro! 🤙🏻✨

Cool over a for stance, bigger wheels and tires, turbo kit, and nos. Keep all the stock parts so you can put it back to stock after you are bored with it. This will maintain it's value. This will become very valuable down the line.

honestly with no powersteering its fine for stuff like spirited driving on the twisties. parking is a tough but you'll get used to it and it's worth it (i own a mk1 mr2 no powersteering and midengine too)

good thing about the nsx is, you can mod the outside and suspension and relatively keep the motor stock. these cars are not meant to be fast but more so a good balanced car. The mileage is so low but people have been doing k swaps on the higher mileage ones. Congrats on the car

You can probably find a rack from another Honda that will fit in there. Like for example, my 88' Prelude blew the main relay and instead of spending $125 for it my friend that worked at Honda told me to get the main relay for the 93' Civic that only cost $30. It was the same relay. Honda really likes to use the trickle effect with their parts.

Oh yeah, just remembered there isn't an engine upfront and no pully or pump unless it has a mount on the motor and just run the hydraulic lines to the rack or fab up an electric assist.

I love the factory setting. I also have 1991 model. You can help the heavy steering with bigger wheels and lower profile tires. The stiffer side wall helps to turn the wheel easier. I have on mine the oem 2002 wheels.

To be honest mate that nsx will be awesome when it’s got wheels, coilovers, etc and maybe a power steering rack in you need, Personally I quite like no power steering but that’s just my opinion, in fact one of my next jobs is to swap out a power steering rack for a manual rack in a mk2 golf gti

It looks like the way my 88' Prelude and 86' Accord steered. But both those cars the power steering died. They didn't hold fluid anymore, but I drove them in the city and parallel parked them for 4 years. As the weeks went by it got much easier and now I kind of miss having no PS. I felt like I had more control on the road and parking only lasts for less then a minute so no big deal. Also, That NSX is kind of sort of giving me Prelude vibes in a way and damn I miss that car.
