As a truckie that traverses the Carpentaria on a regular basis. Thanks fellas! The feds or the NT gov should enlist you two to do an ad on single lane etiquette. Caravans seem the worst. Imagine its ignorance and not on purpose. Education sorely needed!

It's just common sense isn't it mate. Sadly lacking in a lot of people these days. Haha.

That was great, I wasn’t sure how it would go but was pleasantly surprised. By the way Mickey, I live in Ipswich and was delivering a crab to an old friend down the road, “ she’s eighty five by the way” and she mentioned that she loves watching people catch mud crabs so I showed her how to use u-tube and put Gulf mud crabbers on for her, and she was wrapped. Now you guys know you really are a hit with the ladies. Thanks I will be watching the next one, can’t wait.

Presently surprised is exactly what we were aiming for mate. Haha. And I’ll expect to see a spike in my analytics for women 80+. Hahah. Thanks for the comment mate. 👍🏼🤠

Hey guys. Jumped onto ep 1, subbed without checking content. That's how confident I am of Guys in the Gulf. I'll be binge watching for a while. Gotta get some tucker into me, before I starve. Then I'll be back. Atb from across the ditch, somewhere in Nz. Cheers.

Great stories and good survival advice fella's. I reckon your mate owes you a few cold ones. The whole Top End is a beautiful and fantastic to visit but it can be a very harsh place if you're not prepared and haven't done your homework. Living in Darwin I haven't got around any further east than the Limmen / Cox river system for fishing but between your Podcasts and Mikey's channel I reckon I'll be trying to get there next year after the runoff. Cheers legends

Good job boys , Ash knows his stuff . I do most of my crabbing near Tin can bay and the pros up there must be following the same sustainable practices as I always boat a lot of bucks on a trip. Starting to plan a trip up there thanks for the intel via email Mikey looking forward to meeting you both when I come up

Cracking Ep and podcast boys, I Agree 100% with your comments on crabs and fish, as its been 3 years since Ive caught a Mud crab where I crab in the Noosa river system as we had big floods in November and it flushed the crabs out the lakes but this year they been unreel as it was a dryer year. Iam a ex Pro line fisherman and the fishing is unreel offshore with big wet season.

Never understood why people with 4WD refuse to use it unless absolutely necessary. It's got minimal effect on fuel economy but a massive gain in traction and safety.

I always drop mine into 4WD when I’m on dirt. Definitely feels more stable around corners. -Mikey

I think ive become a troll officially in a good way tho. I spent some time in Weipa very similar to there, I hung out with a guy called Mick Pitman who introduced me to the Muddy amongst other things. Watching your videos of the gulf takes me back and reminds how much I miss it.
