Can I get by using a VM to run MacOS?

Hey Adil, I haven't tried running MacOS on a VM. I imagine it making things a lot more difficult. Xcode requires a lot of system resources, which might not be available in a VM. My recommendation is to develop on a Mac (or soon iPad with Swift Playgrounds 4). Hope that helps! Best, Ryan

Hey Michael, you don't need a paid Apple developer account to get started with Apple development. There will be certain restrictions on a free account but all you have to do is create a developer account: developer.apple.com Hope that helps!
