Jill is the embodiment of "salt of the earth". Raw, unfiltered and unapologetic. Her work is amazing and inspiring and what a journey through life she had. This was put together so beautifully and really brought us into the room with her. Incredible work.

josh.ethan.johnson, well, this overwhelmed me. You got me. I didn't want to leave her presence, I just wanted to try and keep up...Your relationship with her and letting me in on it feels like such a privilege and it brought me to tears. I really didn't want her to leave. And the work, incredible, prolific.

I've watched a lot of videos in which photographers say the same thing : shoot what you want, how you want, be in the moment etc. It never hit home for me. But this, this is pure gold for me. So many lessons to be learned in how to see the act of photography but most importantly, how to live. A true devil may care attitude that is so rare these days! Miss Freedman, chapeau!

I have to appreciate her uncomplicated presentation as an artist in love with her art. I am sure her psychoanalyst could have coaxed out of her an endless self-absorption with the question of why she did what she did, but I am glad she spares us all that drivel and just shows us the love - directly. Simply.
