She's the oldest 3rd gen female idol, and older than many second gen idols as well. This was basically why she got rejected everywhere else, her singing and looks would have gotten her in as a trainee basically anywhere if she was 17 or 18 but she was like 22 or 23 and those are generally considered "prime" idol years by many companies. RBW said they don't give af how old she was (or Moonbyul, who is the 4th oldest 3rd gen female idol) and got her based off talent. That's Mamamoo in general, they were basically all rejected constantly at other agencies and RBW knew they could form a group of pure talent and they did, creating pound-for-pound one of, if not the most talented gg ever.

same, she mentioned in solarsido that she have a big group of friends so i thought that's the case since the beginning... but i guess she met them after moving to another school 🥺😢 i'm glad that she have friends from there that she still talk to until now 🤧 also, it shows how people around you can change/influence you in a positive way. similar experienced happened to me too, i'm an introvert, i have friends because they found me not the other way around, they also kind of build my confidence and let me grow as a person..😢🤧

This was a very good interview. It felt like Ravi and Solar were having a real conversation, instead of just shallow talking points. I think it makes a huge difference when you are interested in hearing what the other person says in response to what you've said, and I felt both of them were really listening to each other.

I feel like idols have this unspoken expectation to bend at the will of the public and to do whatever will appease the masses. I’ve been an international kpop fan for about a decade now and I can definitely see a dramatic shift in the mindsets and attitudes of many idols and even a lot of kpop fans when it comes to an idol’s individual identities and their personal lives. I really love how Solar is one of the few women in Kpop who is unapologetically living her life and I actually really happy that she’s so vocal about it. It’s definitely helping to change the public discourse of how kpop idols are viewed and treated.

클로즈업 전 에피(퀸와사비님)를 좋게 봐서 이번에도 보러왔는데 역시 컨텐츠 너무 좋네요😊 개인적으로 분량이 그렇게 길지 않은 것도 큰 장점이라고 생각해요. 쓸데없는 말로 시간 채울 필요 없이 담백하고 깔끔한 구성에, 라비 쌈빡한 진행이 정말 좋아요👍🏻 팬분들을 대할 때도 인간 김용선으로 대하고 싶다는 솔라님의 대답이 처음엔 잘 이해가 안 되었는데, 그럼 좀 더 가깝게 관계를 맺고 싶다는 거네요~ 하고 정리해주는 라비의 말을 듣고 이해가 됐어요🙏🏻👍🏻 랍클업 오래갔으면 좋겠네요! 응원합니다

늘 인터뷰에서 랍사장님과 게스트분들을 보면서 인터뷰 하는 사람도 받는 사람도 보는 사람도 모두가 편해지는 것 같다고 느껴져요 이번 인터뷰를 보면서 특히나 느꼈던 게 우리 사장님의 클로즈업이지만 한번쯤은 특별편으로 라비라는 김원식이라는 사람을 더 세세히 알 수 있는 기회도 있었으면 좋겠어요 우리가 못 보았던 라비의 모습이 있을까 궁금하기도 하고 항상 열일하고 바쁜 사장님이라는 걸 알기에 더 자세히 알고싶은가봐요 다양한 방향에서 활약하는 라비를 보니까 나도 동기부여 되기도 하고!! 이렇게 좋은 인터뷰 해줘서 너무 고마워요

We could see how loyal Slar is with her friends. Because they had known each other through work so she is more comfortable with Ravi. But that nuna part really set me off. Lol so cute! Solar is really honest and you could feel Ravi is bit shy with her at the start but they manage to get through the interview well. 🥰
