As you know better than none else, Charlie Christian tended to play - before the resolution - the whole triad of the usual chromatic approach (but sometimes also the upper chromatic approach), in order to create more madness. Together with placing voluntarily the "wrong" notes at the "right place" and the "right notes" at the "wrong place".

Yes I love that tension he creates playing the arpeggio a chromatic step away first. There are a couple of great examples of that in Swing to Bop!!!

Play along with you at the slow tempo but starting in a different place in the arpeggio so we were in harmony. It doesn’t take much to amuse me😊
