Sole Purpose of “RunThroughTheTape” Channel”
The Main/Only Reason I made this Channel:
At the start of the 2013-2014 I wanted to watch Full episodes of Inside the NBA that I missed and came to find out the Official “Inside The NBA on TNT “ Full Episode website was taken down or discontinued. On top of ITNBA’s already late airing, the ONLY other way to watch ITNBA are through reruns that air…
-The morning after (Friday) at 2am-4am (CT) and 6am-10am (CT) on NBATV, an American Cable Specialty Channel, not the original broadcast channel TNT, which is a American Cable Standard Channel.
-The majority of people in the United States don’t have Specialty Channels (b/c it cost more $$$) and on top of that, these rerun times are very inconvenient to almost all individuals with any type of responsibility (School, Work, etc.) especially seeing as they re-air early Friday mornings, a weekday.
-This show does air very late and most people have jobs, school, etc. and aren’t able to stay up and watch the original airing as well.
-This program also has fans outside the US, and they can’t enjoy the show anymore either b/c the Full Episode Website has been taken down.
-With that being said, as discussed by word of mouth and on many forums, blogs, comments, etc. the absence of the Full Episode Website put all of the shows fans at a great disadvantage and were at risk of not enjoying this Popular Emmy awarded show of 15+ years at all.
So I thought it would do all fans of the NBA, Turner Sports as well as Shaq, EJ, Kenny and Charles a great service as to making this show available in a platform more fans could enjoy at NO PROFIT TO MYSELF and ALL BENEFIT TO THE SHOW AND THE FANS.

I love how Chuck is always so humble about his career. He was waaaay better than Kenny ever was, but you can tell that he doesn't want the attention that much unlike Shaq. What an amazing player Barkley was, best pound-for-pound rebounder ever.

Hey everyone I actually uploaded this video this morning but forgot to post it and make it public before I went to work. I'm on my break now so all I have time to do is edit what I could using my phone. I'll post the time stamps later on tonight in the description. Thanks for your patience, and I'll answer all comments by Friday, sorry I've been slacking a little with that. P.S. It's hard seeing Kobe this bad, reminds me of Ali when he fought Larry Holmes at the end of his career.

+Peter Pendragon You're the one not understanding, much like Kobe. Missed shots are the worst thing for an offense, for a team. You can easily argue that the Thunder lost in the 2012 Finals because Westbrook was taking too many shots and missing. You got to know the difference when you're on and when you're off, and adapt. Kobe cannot play like he used to, lofting up shots like crazy. You can be inefficient if you're dropping 30+ a night like Westbrook was last season and Kobe of old. Not if you struggle to reach double digits every night. He needs to be more of a mentor/facilitator at this stage in his career. Don't fight the aging, adapt to it. Kobe hasn't adapted.

+salman sufi.... Kobe is 37, MJ dropped 51pts at age 38. Michael Jordan never struggled like this... (from Google): On February 21, 2003, Jordan became the first 40-year-old to tally 43 points in an NBA game. During his stint with the Wizards, all of Jordan's home games at the MCI Center were sold out, and the Wizards were the second most-watched team in the NBA.

I loved hearing the clippers discussion. This show is great because guys are really funny but they also know what they are talking about (in my opinion) I find it really interesting hearing what they have to say when they are doing serious analysis. I enjoyed how heated they got during that topic and what the issues are. To me it seems lilke for Chuck its not that he doesnt like them but is just dissapointed in them and feel they should have achieved much more. Everyone will have their opinion on the Clippers but for me I think its a little of everything the guys mentioned. Im no expert at all but watching the Clippers offense it always looks pretty ugly to me.

+andreas1218 They brought up some valid points. I fully agree with Shaq that the ball has to be passed around more instead of being in Chris Paul's hands all the time. Also whether Jordan has developed a post game or Doc just not calling his play is something worth discussing. Lastly, they're totally on point with Blake not dominating his defenders in the post - with his strength and athleticism he should be posting them up all the time. If he tries to play from the perimeter it'll just be like LeBron before he developed a post game.
@Begeaux
@Begeaux 8 жыл бұрын
+andreas1218 Well, it's simply put, but correct. The Clippers have huge problems with people playing badly in the 4th. I think that's due to nerves and probably stamina. Blake is downright exhausted in the 4th quarter. Doc has been coaching very badly this season in that he hasn't made the new bench an option whatsoever and continues to make the same mistakes in terms of keeping his best players fit for the 4th quarter. So there is truth to that. They collapse in the 4th too often. Just remind yourself of the Spurs series last year. They won in the end, but they had many, many opportunities to close these games out earlier and didn't because they produced turnovers in the most crucial points of the game again and again. The only reason they won that series is because of Paul's brilliance and Parker's injury that really hurt the Spurs offense that's grown to be dependant on him running and cutting in every single play. So all in all, it's a coaching problem, atm. I am convinced they won't succeed with Doc Rivers at this point. He's not even trying anything. They're losing games, he has a new bench, it's November and he keeps doing the same mistakes, hardly changing anything. November is over now and he hasn't experimented with his bench whatsoever. Now they lack confidence and don't have a feel for the team. The Clippers are done for this season. They'll make the Playoffs and lose in the 1st round.
@SuperScrubsfan
@SuperScrubsfan 8 жыл бұрын
KrisKelvin Again I'll state im no expert but these are just some of my other quick thoughts as well. People keep saying a much improved bench but I was lik really? Lance in that one year in Indiana if they got that Lance be totally different but it seems they got the crap version of him. Josh Smith has his moments but is not reliable at all and Paul Pierce is definitely best addition but he cant play long minutes, his use will be in in short stints in the playoff. I agree that Blake isnt doing what he should be, hes so strong and athletic he should be doing what Lebron did when he learnt post play, thats when everyone agrees Lebron when to next level. It would allow them to get a lot more easy points. Also mean he would have to be doubled down low a lot more spreading the floor which allower easier 3 looks for Reddick, Crawford, Pierece, Smith etc. If Blake could get easy looks, mabye he would be so exhausted in the 4th. Like I said before the clippers offense always looks so ugly to me. Chris Paul probably has to handle the ball so much because everyone elses offense isnt the best and he has to carry the offense at times. Again this probably makes him tired going into the 4th.

I kind of agree with Shaq. It's impossible to know whether Deandre has a post game or not because he never gets any touches in the post. You can't hit a homerun if you don't swing at the plate, and Doc and the Clips aren't giving him any swings. They should just post him up 2 or 3 times a game and see what happens. It's not rocket science for a 7 footer to score in the post, especially for a monster athlete like Deandre. Thanks as always!
@RunThroughTheTape
@RunThroughTheTape 8 жыл бұрын
+steveditko1 I agree to a certain point, I remember like 2 or 3 seasons ago, Blake Griffin missed 2 games and DeAndre Jordan was the only option. The announcers mentioned that DeAndre had worked on his post game that past off season and DeAndre had 20 and 10 in the first half of the game and 16 and 10 in the second game, using mostly post moves, not just dunks. His post moves looked pretty decent back then. But there is no reason for his disgusting free throw shooting, that is a factor in the Clippers short comings as well. The fact they can't play him in the 4th quarter is a huge detriment.
@sangun123
@sangun123 8 жыл бұрын
+steveditko1 dude deandre really is weak offensively... with their current scoring options that would be a waste of 2 possetions.. Like charles said he needs to show that hes developing... he hasnt changed (im a fan) but hes only good at dunking and rebounding.. he should work on his footwork and maybe eventully a mid range
@steveditko1
@steveditko1 8 жыл бұрын
Well, maybe but I don't know because I've never seen him try to do any of the things you mentioned or even put in a position where he needed to do those things because he never posts up and they never give him the ball in any kind of offensive situation other than to dunk the ball. If Deandre truly does lack a post game, e.g., hooks, fakes, drop steps, up and under moves (but I don't know because I've never seen him post up before); Doc and his staff need to work with him in practice on whatever shortcomings he has in the post and then implement him into the offense. They've been posting Blake up for years and he had no clue of what to do until about 1 or 2 years ago. But he gets it now (he just can't score in the clutch). They should get the same people who worked with Blake to work with Deandre.
@conanbdetective
@conanbdetective 8 жыл бұрын
+steveditko1 His post game isn't non-existent, rather, his post game was figured out already. The issue is also compounded now that he gets less touches. Mostly he's not trusted in the post as he's not in good position almost all the time. To be honest, it's not like DeAndre isn't trying to go in the post, it's that DeAndre can't establish position as he gets pushed out rather 'easily'. Post moves are particular about body positioning and paint position, both of which I don't think DeAndre understands quite yet. He also doesn't understand what the arms and hands do when posting up, so he would often get silly fouls. Another issue is mindset and that is the most important thing in going in the post. He has to want to play in the post, regardless of what's coming for him. He's one hell of a physical specimen and a long as that's true, he needs to impose his will in the post. The no-charge zone is there for a reason and should be taken advantage of, especially by players of his size. Look at Shaq, he didn't exactly wow with his footwork in the post but he did one thing consistently and that is get to the ideal spot on the block.
@sangun123
@sangun123 8 жыл бұрын
conanbdetective whos blocking deandre out from posting up? deandre doesnt have a problem with positioning consideirn ghes one of the most athletic 7 footers, its that he lacks the finness to finish in the post and he cant shoot frethrows

Those Mutombo highlights were awesome. Despite the kinder gentler Shaq this season you could tell his patience was tested when they were showing Mutombo's blocks on him. Kenny saying "Who wants to..." at the end was a reference to how Dikembe used go into a club and say "Who wants to sex Mutombo?"

+chrisdub84 He is 10 times better actually, but to me Barkley, Shaq and Kenny are right about 3 things, 1.) Blake is too sensitive, he flops and needs to toughen up 2.) He doesn't accept the double teams and makes bad decisions out of them 3.) He doesn't dominate like he needs to in the post, he's too strong and athletic not to.

I agree with Shaq and Chuck, actually. I doubt Doc would call plays for him regardless of his qualities in the post (Blake will always get the play before DeAndre gets it), BUT I also think that DeAndre doesn't have that much of a postgame to begin with. Subpar footwork, no go-to-move as far as anyone can tell. Shaq is basically making guesses about DeAndre's qualities in the post. DeAndre in this Clippers team is the defense/screener roleplayer. The Mavs offered him more, he denied. Imo, the Clippers will start a rebuild the next couple of years without achieving anything if they don't get rid off Doc. All in all, it's a coaching problem, atm. I am convinced they won't succeed with Doc Rivers at this point. He's not even trying anything. They're losing games, he has a new bench, it's November and he keeps doing the same mistakes, hardly changing anything. November is over now and he hasn't experimented with his bench whatsoever. Doc is known for motivating players. Well, I think it's fair to say that he didn't succeed in motivating his players in the 4th time and again due to his bad time management. Now their bench lacks confidence and don't have a feel for the team. Big baby Davis at least delivered solid defense back when they played the Spurs. The Clippers are done for this season. They'll make the Playoffs and lose in the 1st round.

The problem with the clippers is that deandre cant hit a damn free throw so he becomes a liability in money time. If he was a respectable free throw shooter, there wouldnt be a Hack a Jordan. Then blake is too busy working on his jump shots that he seems to have forgotten about his post game. Working on other parts of your game isn't a bad thing, but you have to take your roots to the next level. You have jamal crawford come of the bench and it feels like he takes as many shots or even more shots then their star blake. Which is a problem because those shots could be assists for other people to get better shots. Whether it be lack of opportunity to make plays or simply bad performance, there isnt any good consistency with their "others". Personally i dont think doc picked the right personnel to put around blake, cp3, and dj. He shouldve tried to get younger and fresher talent, then coach those guys up to a good level. Theres too many games where its basically blake and cp3 playing 2on5 basketball offensively, which just like Russ and Kd is going to win 50-60 regular season games but wont win you a championship. So as a clippers fan its sad to say it but we will probably leave in the second round again and cp3 may become one of the great players to never win the championship.
@TheJuggernautzombie
@TheJuggernautzombie 8 жыл бұрын
Blueblur22 for the most part you can count on dj to get a rebound and a block here and there. But man unless its lob city via blake or cp3, dj isn't going to score you any points. And the free throw shooting remains atrocious. And to add onto your point about him being traded to the Mavs, he doesn't have that kiler instinct to go out and dominant. But in a weird way it almost exposes how stupid the Mavs were in the offseason to try to bring in dj as the number 1 option/go to guy for their team.
@TheJuggernautzombie
@TheJuggernautzombie 8 жыл бұрын
Blueblur22 When it comes to the mavs i think they were serious about what they said to dj and parsons, its just that things didnt go how they thought they would. When it comes to blake i blame his inconsistency more on fatigue, because most nights he can produce. But him shooting jumpers instead of posting up guys down low i cant defend. And it makes things more frustrating because blake has the potential to be the next lebron james-esque player in terms of physicality. Being this freight train dude that can slam the ball down your throat. When it comes to trades, I like that they gave up matt barnes, but i didnt like that they didnt get an upgrade for that position because lance hasnt been good since the pacers and over there he wasnt the top dog or anything. lance pratically got exposed in charlotte. I think they shouldve traded jamal for a couple of younger players who could come in and shot the ball well and also get coached up to be better players. Because even when they win games, i think they make it harder on themselves when they win with jamal playing a lot of minutes. Its LA so surely you can attract a good young shooting guard out there to come join and possibly take jj's spot as a starter because lets be honest, jj is more of a bench player than anything. Doc is a great coach, but its getting to the point where im starting to think that his system isnt getting through to them, or his system isnt the right system for that group.

Hah, Kenny with that "who wants to sex Mutombo" reference at the end! Seeing Kobe is sad. Personally, I blame D'Antoni's system for killing Kobe's final seasons. If he hadn't been worn out and damaged by a style of play that wasn't working for that aged roster, I think he'd have had more decent years left in him. As it stands, they've completely worn the treads off those tires. One of my friends considered something interesting, and I was curious if it would work: Kobe going to Italy or China and playing a few years over there, sort of how Stephon Marbury has found a second career over there. Granted, Marbury went over there earlier in his career.

rahowhero Mostly agreed, which is why I like what Chauncy Billips did. He became the 6th Man after winning a Championship with Detroit. He probably got another few years out of that! Incidentally, I think he's smart enough to know his role on such a team would be different. The man grew up in Italy playing soccer, IIRC, so it isn't like the concept of team play is foreign to him. He just doesn't trust anyone on his team. If HE'S the odd man out, I imagine it'd be different.
