Yes you can visit Spiti in May. I went last year in April 2nd week but not sure way from Losar to Manali would be open or not so it is always recommended to check before planning to come back from Manali.

@@sorabhtravelvlogs you can easily get stay in Shimla and Narkanda under 1000 for a night and for Nako, please contact Moonlake Guest House - 90152 61364. Even in Kaza you can hotels under 1000 and when I say hotels in Kaza that means Homestay 😀
