So excited to see you reacting to Cutie Pie. My reaction was the same as yours for this episode. I think it's easy looking from the outside to hate on Kuea's deception. But I can understand his fear of disappointing & losing the person he loved all his life. I can also understand Lian's frustration at Kuea for being deceptive. That's why the “Anabelle doll” reference. As the series progresses, you'll understand both their perspectives. Many viewers misunderstood the characters. For me, Cutie Pie showcased the ups and downs of loving someone much older and successful, and the pitfalls of trying to live up to that person's expectations you assume he has for you. Also, being stoic and trying to solve all the problems can be stifling and burdensome for the person you love. Communication is the key, but it is not easy. I fell in love with this series and hope you'll like it at least a little by the end of it. FYI, “Hia” is an honorific used to address an older brother or man in Thai. I love the actors Zee (Lian) and NuNew (Kuea). Their chemistry is amazing, both on and off script. Their relationship in real life is like a Rom-Com. 😍 NuNew is an incredible singer. He has covered a lot of songs in various languages. He has songs of his own too. You can check them out on DMD Music channel on KZbin. Their BL ship name is ZeeNuNew and their fandom is called ZonZon. By the way, I enjoyed your running commentary. It's an amazing feat to talk all through the video. 😁 But your talk was relevant, and you were paying close attention to everything. Good job! Waiting for your reaction to the next episode.

NuNew, the actor of Kuea, loves his lipstick. It's something of a confidence booster for him. 💄 When shooting for his newest series he asked if he could use lipstick: It's a zombie series called Zomvivor😅.

Love your reaction! ❤ Kuea hides his real character behind the facade of the elegant, gentle and studious high society boy. Not just from his fiance but also from his family as he doesn't want to disappoint them and society's expectations. As his fiance is older and a successful bussinessman he thinks he will have to be the supporting husband and tries to imitate how his mother is the supporting spouse to his father. He hasn't discussed his role in the marriage because he's in love with his fiance and thinks if he shows his true character Lian will reject him. Although it is not explicitly stated in the series you will come to understand that Kuea and Lian are both influenced by high society's expectations for how certain people in certain roles should act.

I'm Thai so I'm not very good at English but I'll try to answer your questions. As for the LGBT community in Thailand, for me I can find this group of people everywhere. Being LGBT in my country is very normal. and equal marriage laws for LGBT people It just became successful a few years ago.🎉

In the Thai BL's you'll hear Hia and P' a lot. It's my understanding that people with Chinese decent use the term Hia as like "older brother" and other's will use P, as in P'Lian vs. Hia Lian. It's a sign of respect. Older people will either use Nong or just the person's name when speaking to someone younger. So Nong Kuea. Please someone correct me if I'm mistaken. This is just what I've picked up in my couple years of watching BLs.

how exciting! can't wait to see your journey with this series. tbh i hated Lian in the 1st ep i rmmb screaming "ARE YOU DUMB!" when he asked if kuea was mad bcs he canceled the date 🤣 this series is something else, as it goes on we get to understand both of their perspectives and also how the two resolved their problem (communication and trust) and i ended up falling for both of them. * "hia" is used for Chinese-Thai to call an older person/brother (basically it's "phi" but for Chinese-Thai), though "hia" in another tone could also mean "asshole" just like how kuea said it when Foei almost hit a dog 😆 About the actors: Nunew (Kuea actor) is very talented! this series is his first ever series/acting project, he's also a singer hence why everytime he sings it's actually his real voice (also the OSTs of this series are all too good!), he has a lot of song covers and is known to sing in multiple languages, he also practiced playing drums just for the series ^^ Nunew is given the title "Son of the nation" by Thai public and medias because of his talent and good nature. Meanwhile Zee Pruk (Lian actor) has been in the acting industry for a while, he played in lakorns and 1 BL (Why R U?), though he experienced some traumatizing things back then, he received a lot of hate both on social media and real life (people cursing at him in public while he's working) so he didn't want to act in BL series anymore at that time until he met Nunew, funfact! Zee personally chose Nunew to be his partner in this series and in their reenactment revealed he didn't want to accept the series offer if he's not paired with Nunew (despite that it would be Nunew's first acting project) and it took Nunew by surprise as that time Zee was his idol and his senior in the industry. They have received a lot of awards both from fan vote and jury bcs of this series, it was a turning point for both of them both in work and relationship ^^ i hope you'll enjoy the series~

I'll make sure not to accidentally call someone an "asshole" when I'm just trying to be respectful. 😆 Nunew sounds like a total powerhouse - singing in multiple languages and even picking up drums for the role? i literaly search a reaction of CP everyday & i haven't see ur video but thank god i come upon ur UWMA reaction & when i open ur channel i see this😆 idk if anyone have told u abt the Chinese character on Kuea's house but it's "Kilen" if i'm not wrong, everything on Kuea's life full of things related to Lian bcs he's that inlove.. unfortunately they cut some important scene from the novel (idk why) so some ppl still can't understand Lian & Kuea in this episode but bcs i see u already react to ep 5, i will explain that Lian is actually mad seeing Kuea say ily bcs he thinks that it's a lie like- "you don't even show me the real u & hiding everything from me but u said u love me?" something like that & for the fact that Kuea acts polite, calm etc, it's bcs 1) he's an aristocratic descent & they're a prominent family whose actions everyone pays attention to & be "perfect" & a "good boy" is to be expected; 2) bcs of the reason number 1 he thinks Lian will expected the same; 3) he loves Lian sm, he willing to do all that to be the "perfect" partner for him.. funfact: they're dating irl🤫🤭 btw i love ur reaction, i'll wait for the next one❤
