I played against Jeremy Lin in my debut game in the P+ League in Taiwan. I will be documenting my journey throughout the season, so stay tuned for more episodes!
My name is Glen Yang and I'm a Canadian Chinese Professional Basketball Player currently playing for the Taiwan Kaohsiung Steelers. I've previously played in Hong Kong, Spain, Canada, and the Philippines.

It's very challenging to be a good point guard in modern basketball who needs to be the most versatile player. Good ball handler, direct the offense, consistent 3 point shooting, more than 80% free throws, layup skills, jumper shooting, drive and create opportunities for teammate when there is no obvious offense opportunity.

Have a buddy from NYC who is Korean-American. Played for a NYC college forgot the name as their starting guard. He 100% would have made the KBL in Korea but at the time (10 years ago) they only allowed 2 foreign spots, and those pretty much HAD to go to tall (usually black centers, PFs). For you to succeed as a foreign spot when there's less spots and many go to taller players is really an accomplishment
