Ep. 1: Wade Fishing Radio Island Rock Jetty Morehead City, NC (Flounder, Blue Fish, Speckled Trout)

My son and I went wade fishing at the rock jetty in mid December and had an awesome day of fishing!! We were there a total of about 3 hours and caught about 38 fish!! A great day of fishing!!
31 - Speckled Trout
6 - Blue Fish
1 - Flounder

Rod: Lew's 5'6" Laser HS SpeedStick IM6 (Ultra Light)
Reel: Lew's HS1 Hypersonic SpeedStick HS300
Line: Suffix brand 20lb braid color Low-VisGreen (on reel), Berkley VANISH 12lb Fluorocarbon (Leader about 1.5 feet)
Bait: 1/4 oz. Jighead (Green/White), a 4 in. Z-Man DieZel MinowwZ paddle tail in color Creole Croaker, and Procure Blue Crab flavor.

Gotta love radio island what I do for measuring instead of pulling out the tape I carry sticks or stakes and put in the ground if I am targeting specific fish that day so all you do is drag to the sticks and it’s either yes or no lol

There was a spot of right in front of the marker we fished alot but my dad said that since they dredge it its hard to say down there to fish when the tide comes in.

I need to hang out with you!! Lol I live inland in Beaufort County, but I love to go to Emerald Isle in the summer and fish around there. Fort Macon is good too! Haven't fished too much at Radio Island though. I was just gifted the new go pro for my bday, so I definitely want to finally get footage of me catching something, rather than just pics lol!
