Beer in the tank from the new kit, that's a result irrespective of the issues you had. I've had bulging silicone tubing too, from my kitchen tap. In my case it just blew off the barb rather than exploded. Anyway onwards and upwards!

I know how it feels have been in the same situation back in 2018/2019 with the same 400 ltr kit and a very large 500 ltr mash tun off step ladders mashing in nothing going right this time around though its all going in cans with the unit on my property zero overheads with me already having a fulltime job so i can enjoy the process!

I've had a silicone hose come off a barb just with mains water pressure. It was so tight to get on I didn't think I would need a clip to retain it. Hope you found your mic. Somebody might find it in the bottom of their glass, lol.

Hi Andy. Would be interested to find out what the outcome was with the high OG & if you ended up diluting to correct it. You can get reinforced silicon tube but you will probably avoid silicon altogether now, and I wouldn't blame you either. Anyway, Congratulations on you first brew with the new kit.

Well, I came across one of your videos the other day and really enjoyed it, so went back to the beginning and watched everything. Finally caught up. What a story! As a homebrewer who's finally making half decent beer and considering taking the plunge into commercial brewing, your content has been very educational as well as entertaining. I've really enjoyed the journey. Wish I'd come across it at the beginning. You should be very proud of what you've achieved (I'm sure you are) in a relatively short space of time. Looking forward to seeing more from you. A couple of questions... Have you got anything on at the Nottingham beer festival this year? I need to try some Murgy Straight as I feel strangely invested 😂 Also, have you considered running a homebrew competition with the winner getting their recipe brewed at Four Priests?
