Women friendly laws made this crime. If laws were gender neutral, husband would have given divorce. But since, laws are women friendly, when, women gets caught by affairs, she will file fake 498 case on husband or fake domestic violence case. Then she will put husband into jail and then she will take his house. So, husband can't divorce wife, even when she has affairs with so many men. So, what husband will do eventually. Not just husband, if mother beats her child. Child doesn't have any rights in front of women in Indian laws. Male Child will be put into jail. Now, what option Child has now.

*The problem with Indian society is, since our childhood we are taught to carry on with the relationships that has already reached to the level that we cannot tolerate it anymore & then out of anger such incidents happen. Often our own relatives force us to think one more time every time. Outcomes are suicides or murders. The problem is, we cannot mend relationships like we mend things. To be in relationship due to social pressure or child future further deepen the conflicts. Its better take a divorce & live a happy life then dying every seconds within. We really need to further educate our society more openly with a attitude that divorce is ok.*
