Thank you for the book. It is changing my wife and I viewpoints. God kept telling me what did our early church believe? Something’s wrong here. To my surprise they were universalists. At any rate this is the good news we have been missing!!

Thank you for your insight and teaching which is so helpful. I am in my late 70s and really only just discovering these truths. I came across a quotation from Marcus Aurelius which spoke to me. He said "The object of life is not to be on the side of the majority but to escape finding oneself in the ranks of the insane". Blessings from England.

Julie, I read your book year and years ago, and it completely changed my life. I could never turn back or rewind my thinking. However, now in my West Texas town, I can’t bring it in me to go to church because I don’t know of any like-minded people who agree that God loves and accepts all - not just those who “profess their faith.” I’m expected by everyone in my family to attend church, but I can’t. Do you still attend church? Do you have a like-minded group that you can be yourself with? Thank you. ❤️

Thank you for your awesome and encouraging feedback! I am in the same boat...I haven't gone to church for over a decade. It would be like trying to shove a baby back into the womb. It no longer fits and the more time that passes, the less likely chance of it ever happening! Once you let go of the monster god teaching, you realize there is no division between the sacred and the profane, and you see God in all things. In essence, Life becomes your church and you no longer need doctrines, certainty, creeds, or hanging out with people who are trying to force them on you. It's very liberating to know that God is in all...all people, all things...and you no longer have to go looking in any buildings or belief systems. I have found that the like-minded people find me over time. It's beautiful.

It actually plays into a lot of what I think you are teaching, Jesus is here and now, He already came back, it opens the door to a freedom that the 1st century church also longed for, we have the kingdom here and now because of it. I think you won't be disappointed if you looked into it, it would help make your case, though I am sure there are things we disagree on, the freedom to disagree due to this, is at a much higher level. Read Matt 24, Luke 21, Mark 13 and ask yourself who is He talking to and when was He coming back and to where was it going to happen...then realize all of the apocalyptic language was just that, no stars will literally fall from heaven etc...same language was used in the Old t, He came back in AD 70, did away with the Old T and Covenant, and the New C we are in now is forever. God-bless

I had a curious question that I would love to get your perspective on, if possible. In light of Easter Sunday yesterday: if there is no Hell, why did Jesus die for our sins? I am so thankful to no longer believe in Hell, but then I wonder what was the purpose of Jesus’ suffering if not to save us from eternal separation. Thanks for sharing your knowledge! ❤️
@wayman1776

It’s referenced as the Lake of Fire and even Jesus himself mentions it. If there is a heaven then their is a hell because both were created by God but hell for Satan and his followers it was never meant for us but one can end up there because the wages of sin is death. One of the devils greatest deceptions is to make one doubt about being no destruction in such a place. Even Satan knows the scriptures are true. Christ gave his life so that people would have a chance at salvation and not end up in destruction at the second death.

The reason there is no Hell (permanent condemnation) is because Jesus dying for us was a sucess.
@christophergibson7155
@christophergibson7155 3 жыл бұрын
@@men2dewy Yes, Jesus' sacrifice for the sin of the world was complete. "It is finished" Jesus said. The debt for sin was paid. That still does not erase the consequences of those who die in their sins. What will you do with the following scriptures? "Then He was also say to those on the left hand, "Depart from Me, you cursed, into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels."(Matthew 25:41) "And these will go away into everlasting punishment, but the righteous into eternal life." (Matthew 25:46) If we don't have a healthy fear of God and take Jesus at His word then we can fall into error. God is Holy, Righteous, and Just, would you not agree? He would be "a corrupt judge" if He did not administer justice for crimes. Without believing in the salvation that Jesus has offered to all mankind we are lost unrepentant sinners destined for hell. Your thoughts?

Just like hell the existence of any fallen angelic beings is a pagan myth , only found in our Bibles through wrong translations! The lake of fire is a good thing not a bad one! It figuratively represents the purifying love of God. It's as much for believers as none and burns in our minds consuming wrong beliefs. The 'second death is the death of beliefs not people! Sin and death are basically the lies we believed about God and ourselves and the wrong beliefs those lies brought. That is the only thing we needed saving from. The death of Christ killed those lies and resurrected awareness of our true identity. In other words Jesus died to save us from ourselves! Also the death of Christ revealed that God responds to the evil and retribution of mankind with love and forgiveness. That God would rather die than respond to violence with violence!

@@joecheffo5942 That very verse is speaking about all of Christendom that teach eternal hell. A doctrine teaching the fear of the Lord according to the precepts of men. They also don't teach what death really means. Be teaching people that the dead is kicking it with Jesus right now. WRONG. They are dead. The dead know nothing. They taking a long nap, which will pass by for them instantly to when Jesus raises them. There also is no free will, but good luck explaining that to anyone. These are real truths for the real truth seeker. And you can't be a truth seeker unless God causes it. So it's whatever. All of life is just an experience, a back drop or contrast for the future ages/eons. A contrast that will bring much joy and glory to everyone and especially, God.

Yes, hell is such an appalling concept it does seem slanderous to attribute that to a great and loving creator. I also dont believe in free will, however real it seems, and it leads to people judging and seeking vengeance (justice is the nice word) instead of teaching and compassion and love.

Now THE God we both know is even more loving to you if it is meant for you to see this truth. If not, oh well, that's just where God has you right now, in the end, we will both be of one mind. As with many things (pagan "Christian" holidays, global warming - now renamed "climate change," the immortality of the soul, etc), people accept it without too much critical thinking. As it is with eternal torture. I've found that you can give people incontrovertible proof from the Bible - and they will stay say that those verses speak only of believers - even 1 Tim 4:10, which says that God is the Savior of ALL men, but ESPECIALLY of believers! They usually tell me some garbage like ALL doesn't really mean "all" but "all types" of people. They are blind, I pray the scales fall from their eyes soon! God bless, everyone!

He was in pain over his people (not family members per se) because they were the ones under the Mosaic Covenant (read Raising Hell to know the difference in what the covenants meant to a first century Jew) who had been chosen by birth lineage to rule and reign with Christ in the coming age. Paul didn't want them to miss out on this "reward for obedience." But remember that Paul also said he would rather be cursed in their place so they could regain the blessing. There is no way anyone would asked to be cursed in the place of others if it entailed eternal torment! He knew it was a temporary missing out on the promises of the Mosaic Covenant. The Abrahamic Covenant, the salvation of all people, is the Covenant whereby no one is ever lost. It was a one-sided Covenant, meaning it was not contingent upon the actions of people, only God had to sign it for all.

How can a person separated from Christ receive the promised gift of salvation? Hello RH; you probably already know this, but I thought I'd say it anyway and that is Jesus said that He is the way, the Truth, and the Light, and that the only way to God is through Him. God showed his love and benevolence to us when He sent Jesus to earth, to take sin on Himself and to die on the cross, and then come back to life, so we could have a means of escaping eternal death -- separation from Him. We need only to believe and then accept or receive it, and acknowledge that Jesus is the Son of God, and that He did this for us. There is no other option or way or path -- only through Jesus. I know you've done a lot of research, but hell is a very real thing, it's not figurative it's real, so is the lake of fire -- it's eternal separation from God. The time to make our choice is now.
@RaisingHell
@RaisingHell 4 жыл бұрын
Hey John. Have you read the book to see how overwhelming the evidence is that hell is merely a man-made construct? From a Jewish perspective, the writer's of the NT, when Jesus said, "I am the way the truth and the LIFE, no man comes to the father except through me..." What he meant is that his way is the way. No one comes to the father except through the same path of death of the old and resurrection of the new. The entire New Testament is devoted to this message. "I have been crucified with Christ, it is no longer I who live...anyone who would come after me must take up his cross daily and follow me..." The path to heaven or eternal life is the same for all of us. Jesus came to show us that way of laying down the old Adam, and putting on the Second Adam. Thanks for your comments!
@martinfell9165

One of the basics of Christianity is the Omnipresence of God. God is everywhere all the time , there is no such thing as separation from God it's an impossiblity! All of mankind are in inseparable union with God. So if there was a hell to go to to be punished for ever. Then God would be there as well . being punished forever! Not one verse in the Bible says we have to choose now, there is no cut off point or expiry date. Everyone who doesn't believe before they die , will do so after according to Phil 2:10-11. John said Revelation was symbolic and figurative, so the the lake of fire is real but not a real lake or real fire! It's a figure of speech for the purifying love of God, it consumes wrong beliefs so is good for us! I ask to go to the lake of fire every day and you will too once you know what it is and for. It's as much for believers than non!

@martinfell9165

What would be the point in annihilation? Particularly for those who have had a life of pain , misery and heartache! Why would God create mankind only to snuff them out? Is that really the best plan a loving parent can come up with? Universal salvation/restoration is the only result that matches God's nature, anything else would be a failure. Oh and another thing Paul says all mankind are righteous and justified with no sin being accounted. So to God there are no wicked people, only righteous , justified people , who haven't realised it yet but will one day!
