I like the 'podcast' presentation, it makes me focus on the information ... which is very insightful and simple. Keep up the good work, Mahalo from an aging rookie in Maui

Like your comment about learning tube riding in closeouts, if you can get travel time in a closeout it's gunna be easy when you get perfect waves. Intermediate surfers should try surfing without a tail pad ! Helps with learning how much power to apply to back foot through turns and helps with weight distribution. ( Push too hard a your back foot slips off ) 😀

Hi could you talk about?: not paddling for a wave because it-looks too steep I might break the longboard. I ride a 8’0 longboard/ and a 10’0 PNR . I am 6’4 and 200 lbs.

I agree however I also believe that the wave can be made into a good surfer’s canvas where the skill can be displayed I once knew an Architect that was fascinating to me because of how everything he did from model making to visual renders it all seemed to obey and conform to his craft I relate this to surfing because the same can be true

What keeps clicking in the audio. It’s subtle but driving me nuts. But good content though!
