my son is 17 now and was like that aswell,i took him for speech therapy for 1yr and never stopped trusting God,today he talks too much that i have to say please keep quiet,my daughter always laughs and says my prayers were too powerful.God is able to do anything. I was even worried that he might not be able to attend normal school,yes he was abit immature that i held him back for another year in grade two and only because he struggled with maths but every other subject was perfect,even though he couldn't speak properly he could read properly,he never failed and is going to grade11 in normal school. God is great.
