Omg that last part (the soul) really got to me. I stopped singing a year ago, stopped listening to music, stopped following anything music related exactly because of that. Also I find myself getting so anxious when someone hears me sing, that I cant breath properly. No matter what I do to relieve the tension, its just not working. Im so anxious about making mistakes, about sounding awful (because I truly believe I do), so I just never sing when someones around even though it makes me feel so good.

It feels like my vocals stuck in tummy. I barely breath since my voice change when i was 15 years old. Any idea what should i do and don't ? It was like life and death question for me and your reply would mean lot to me. ❤

Ok, i think i asked this question before but not sure i got a response. My voice tend to get brighter when I attempt to belt in high notes, is that normal ? If not , what is the solution? (is possible to make my chest voice mutch up my mixed voice? )
@NewYorkVocalCoaching3 жыл бұрын
Hi Ismail! Makes sense! There could be different things occurring that are making the sound brighter. Often singers will raise their larynx to achieve high notes because it helps with Compression. Or they will "spread"/spread their mouth wide, which encourages strength and also a raised larynx. And, a raised larynx and spread will cause brightness. ;) Send your question to Question@VoiceLessonsToTheWorld.com and our VLTTW manager will send you a list of episode recommendations that address these things! -NYVC
