Agenda Setting Theory says that media is a powerful tool that shapes and influences how people view issues. This theory also recognises that the media's influence is not absolute and that people bring their own beliefs, values, and experiences to interpret information or messages given by the media. The Social Learning Theory of media says we are copycats. We tend to unconsciously copy the content we see on social media.
