Whereas,we old timer still watch "Ruku maitoka", parana Parana" etc through youtube.

Respecting the Tribal area in India with diverse cultures and food is a beauty itself.

Cow is called "Goru" in Arunachal pradesh, it is a Assamese word. Cow is not native animal of Arunachal pradesh, so we Arunachalee had no knowledge of milking cow. Ghee,Paneer,Dahi were not known. Arunachal don't produce cow milk for own consumption. Bihari or Nepali sells milk in Arunachal or package milk is coming from Gujarat, karnataka n other states till now . The Buddhist of Arunachal knew milking of Yak. Mithun ,pig and wild animals meat were main source of protein n fats. In early days, tribal were reluctant to eat goat n cow, because its smell was very bad compare to meat of wild animals like deer wildboar, birds, porcupine ,squirrels which were available in those days and it was tribal favourite delicacies. Now a days wild animals are almost hunted,wildlife restriction came into force, mithun meat, pork n mutton is costly, the cheapest meat available is beef coming from old,sick cows smuggled by Mia muslim from Assam to Arunachal. 98% of butcher are Mia and beef hotel run by Bihari muslims who cook with Indian 12 masalas curry. The customers are Arunachal tribals.
