I've been to the Lukla airport, my flight was from Kathmandu to Lukla, it was a chartered plane.... It was an amazing and breath taking experience for me . Lukla airport has the shortest runway in the world.

The fact behind this accident is the corrupt government of Nepal who gives license to these private airlines who can not afford new aeroplanes.They run their companies only using scrap planes., In yesterday's accident there was senior pilot and appropriate climate, Pokhara airport is also in good condition .plz explore the news of yati and omni kanda (corruption scandal of yati airline),so that the ministers associated with that could be known by rest of the world.Always love Nepal and Nepali. love you and Crime Tak.

Some comments; 1.The runway was about 3 km away from the crash site instead of 24 km. 2. It is a new international airport instead of domestic airport. 3. Not only small aircraft, even Boeing narrow body aircraft can be landed in this airport.

Nepalese Pilots are extremely capable and skilled. They have experience and training to fly around difficult terrain. The plane was 3 kms away from the airport. It's the newly inaugurated International Airport. It's Lukla not Lukka. The crash happened on Makar Sakranti day, not December. Except these things, everything you said was true. Corruption is the major issue.
