Happy Father’s Day to all the Dads out there!!!
This week on The Art of French Living… Join us for a 'Chateau D.I.Y' party at the stunning Chateau de Brives with Sarah & George… Erin & JB… Julia (of the chateau sisters)…and Stephanie Jarvis, Marie & Philip!
Stephanie did an amazing job showcasing the beauty of Sarah and George’s incredible home in her vlogs!
We’re going to show you a few other highlights of the weekend including yoga (Abernathy joined in!)… a tour of George’s antiques warehouse… and some interesting stories about cognac (while tasting it of course!)…then back at Lomenie, Johnny shows off his cabinet of curiosities!

I remember when you and Ashley first moved in and you started doing work on this room, it’s stunning, doing it black and gold was absolutely the right background for all your treasures. Having a room of treasures/ collectibles is so Victorian and old country house esq, it doesn’t matter they’re all different, don’t match but when you group things together in collections suddenly everything just works! I love love this room, everyone should have a room, wall or just a shelf of treasures!

Johnny, your pulling on my heart strings again ☺️💐❣️❣️❣️ I don't have the traveling bug but all my life I've been collecting little things ,apartments or houses my walls and shelves are full of things ☺️ some people tease me that I'm a reincarnated Victorian cat lady, or a store window decorator 😆 most recently a friend of twenty years spent the weekend couldn't sleep and sat in my living room just examining my displayed "hoard" she said for the first time she got it ! How having these things represented me on all the levels. Kinda cool.☺️❣️

It was great seeing you all at George and Sarah’s beautiful Chateau! I just love your eclectic taste in the interesting items you have in your cabinets - and so many great memories there too! One of your cabinets reminded me of an old alchemist’s store and the hands would make a great art project - so hope you do it, Johnny, and let us see the end result! (I live near Canterbury by the way and the cathedral is superb).
