The mbappe vs hazard debate was prem bias, I understand premier is the toughest/best league itw, but mbappe won the league with Monaco at 18, he destroyed city to reach a ucl semi with Monaco when he was 18 and was the most important player for France (imo) in their 2018 wc win. The only thing hazard has over him is he’s done it in the prem and even so like amenyah said hazard wasn’t very consistent in the prem.

Honestly the hazard year without a goal is a football twitter favourite without context. He didn’t go a year without a goal. It was a mixture of 2 seasons and he scored a goal in the league and more in cups. He dealt with injuries and bare in mind this was the mourinho year where the whole of Chelsea downed tools. On the other hand, de bruyne went a year without an assist, and iniesta went a year without a goal or assist in prime Man City and barcelona, yet doesn’t get brought up

I get drew on preferring hazard to Neymar. If I had a choice to pick prime hazard or Neymar for Liverpool I’d honestly pick hazard. It was popular opinion around 2018 as well, hazard showed him levels in the World Cup. It’s because hazard can run the length of the pitch, he’s quicker and stronger than Neymar, where as Neymars more skilful. Hazard is more reliable so that’s why I’d take him, prefer his play style for my team

I think we can all agree that prime Hazard was the 2018 WC and the 2018/19 season ... when we battered Chelsea 6-0 at home that season Hazard did nothing for 90 minutes... he literally watched us slaughter his team and did nothing. Or what about when we played in the League cup final that year? We didn't play well at all and the game was begging for Hazard to step up and win it for Chelsea... once again he did nothing except for scoring a meaningless panenka in the pen shootout. Don't get me wrong here, I rate Hazard highly but this notion that he could never be shut out is bs. He's still 5th on my list tho but Mbappe, Neymar, Dinho and CR7 are clear

If we use stats to compare the performance of both in the national team, there is so much difference: Ribery presence 81, Goals16, Assists20, Hazard presence: 118, Goals 33, Assist 36, Ribery(36:81= 0.44) while Hazard(69:118=0.58). About UCL, no comparison, Ribery>>>Hazard. I only agree if you say that Hazard at his peak was better.
