I find that having a spirit of curiosity is very powerful for me. I totally agree with this as it relates to doing all kinds of things in life

First couple weeks for me, sleep was the hardest by far. Work and exercise hard wether you feel like it or not. Then comes the night you sleep well for the whole night. You will feel like you have come back to life with clarity.

Thanks for sharing your tips. In Las Vegas alcohol is always around. Plenty and often free. Probably one of the hardest places in the world to stay sober.

100% mindset. I agree! You need to basically "reprogram" your brain and learn what alcohol really is. If you do that success is guaranteed

I just listened to your book and while reviewing ER notes a doctor recommended it to a young patient with liver damage.

So so helpful- just by reframing it can seem such a positive rather than depriving or negative experience....ps I always ghost too..... !

Ghosting, I didn't know that silently leaving a party had a name. I went to a party at 20 with my 11 years older boyfriend. I took one look and said I hope you have a ride home because I'm leaving. It was so crowded you couldn't move. Eric Clapton's Cocaine was playing loud. It was smoky, druggie and drunk. I still love the sound of that song but never had any use for the drug. I'll never forget the 2 minutes I spent at that round house in Fallbrook CA. I couldn't leave fast enough, too much for me. I thought if I were the police I'd bust this place tonight. I doubt the force was big enough. Never before or since have I had a panic attack. 😁

I tried to start the alcohol experiment this month and went on vacation. So, year. That was a big fail.

I hate the word ‘challenge’....I’ve been saying it for years, anything with the word ‘challenge’ in it is such a turn off for me...
