Justice was not served to the young man who sacrificed his life while protecting a girl . Just because he was a king he had given choices and surely he has given a lot of money to the British Government and settled down in London. In my opinion this was a pathetic case for the study for law practitioners as well as the protectors. This shows how a rich person do crime and his subordinates pay for it and he live happily in his life.

Exactly. This option given to the king who did not act as a king to save his men and whose lust,selfishness were sole reasons for death of unsuspecting businessman and his 3 men - life imprisonment and mental disbalancement of a few more people. The British Govt should not boast of its impeccablly clean judicial system after this tight slap on its face.

This is the oldest of crime tak real crime story ,unique in many ways, that happened during british raj.Tried in british ruled court with british judge.Most disturbing is that immediate murderers were punished,but it is not possible to believe and accept that none of the 9 revealed the name of king.BUT it was obvious and his name was everywhere.British used diplomacy in place of law to trade dethroning for trial. That is NO justice to the one killed.this is a unique case without three prominent lawyers..I knew kanga name but never knew first name.Indeed riveting due to its antique value.
