I feel your pain. I got a “free “ 96’ fourtrax 300 that had been sitting outside uncovered for years. Should have known better.🙄 I had to friggin break my brake hub into pieces with a hammer then had to cut through what was left of the hub with a saws all and an air cutoff tool. Then I had to slowly drive the hub off with an air chisel. I tried to drive the whole axle through from the right side like the guy on this video, but it wouldn’t budge so I said forget it. Luckily my bearings appeared to be ok. Better to stop before I break something. It’s been an ordeal.

Update..... everything went well. Easy job. Only snag I ran into was the bolts for my trailer hitch snapped. So either tap and die or new axle tubes... or maybe even just weld one. Honestly idgaf and it will probably just not have one

I have a 1993 honda fourtrax i need to de rear end work there is a tick in rearend when i am on throttle only? And my big gear in rear end pinion? I think anyways its got chunks missing i have used it for plowing last 3years plus run it alot lol great machines my question is what should i guy order for parts

I fixed it a while back rebuilt all rearend, the bearing on the driveshaft let go and the pinion bearings were pooched Big time HAHA to get that nut off the driveshaft i used square tubing no special tool needed
