This is footage of our longest sail yet. We sailed a total of ~50 nautical miles in less than ideal weather. However, the pilot house, on the Beneteau 32 Evasion, proved to be an excellent asset on this rainy, windy day.

First Beneteau I have seen like this, she’s perfect. An extra bonus to have a new engine, happy for ya.

Looks like a very comfortable boat to sail! Especially good at extending your sailing into cold weather, perhaps.

Yes for sure. Being able to get in out of the weather and still have a 360 degree view of what is going on around, and what your sails are doing, is a definite plus. thanks

thats eas calm stressless good days sailing the old boat is realy smooth and comfortable ,guess as gather trust in ot and theres no dramas if you keep ontop of repairs it,ll be a breeze when your out and 40 knt winds come out of nowheres and that will be it,s sweet spot, you .ll take it all in your stride and the boat will handle it no problems

Agreed. It's all about building up a comfort level. That grows the more you sail and get to know the abilities of your boat. Cheers.

Thanks so much. I think we sail in similar conditions. Hopefully next season we'll get to do some longer passages like you folks.

Hey Bill..hey Gerald... I assume Gerald got his fuel tank out and reinstalled.. did I miss the video of Gerald getting the fuel tank out.???keep the video's flowing.!

Yes he got it out , repaired and back successfully. We had some footage, but not enough for a full video on it alone. Perhaps we'll do a compilation video of some repairs at some point. Thanks.

So nice (and inspiring) to see you've both had a wonderful sail - and a break form 'messin' about on your project boat (how's that going since you got her home?). 🙂 So Bill, is that you on your guitar playing in the background? - nice and it fits really well!

The project boat is basically just sitting in the water, waiting until I lift it out later in the fall. I'll then work on it through the winter. I watch the video and record some guitar while I'm watching trying somewhat to match what's going on. One take and done. Thanks
