It's so sad because it seems like this little 6 year old child didn't even know HOW to be loved. How heartbreaking... and why steal a child that you don't even WANT? I mean, obviously, it doesn't matter how much you want a child--- you don't take someone else's but this is just odd... she (the kidnapper) wasn't good to her so why take her? Damn.

I found an article on Facebook about Rodney Alcala. According to the article he was a serial killer who was killing while on a dating game show called “The Dating Game” (1978), and he won the show. It’s a crazy story that Ayman should totally do a video on.

The kidnapper had been married to Delimar's father's cousin before they divorced shortly before Delimar's birth. When they divorced, she was believed to be pregnant with his child. The kidnapper abducted Delimar and pretended that the baby was hers, some say it was to get Pedro's cousin back, others say it was because the kidnapper desperately wanted a baby of her own but could not have any. The kidnapper started the fire to cover her tracks. Delimar was finally found nearly seven years later in January 2004 when her biological mother noticed she resembled a lot like the baby she had supposedly lost to the fire. After a DNA test it was confirmed that Delimar was indeed that baby. She had been growing up as Aaliyah Santos for the six and a half years. Had the kidnapper never taken Delimar to that party, the child would never have been found or she could have been found much later in her life. The story could have closely resembled Carlina White's or Kamiyah Mobley's.
