The Manticore must be good if you've got a Deus 2, you've loaned a test Manticore, given it back and then bought one with your own money! Keep working those fields hard, Henry. I sense some gold there. So competent for such a young detectorist. The Minelab team need to be keeping an eye on you for a future Detexpert.

@GRIFFINds yes, I thought the deus II was expensive.. ( I'd only had a vanquish 340 and a Nox 600 before) I'm sure they are both worthwhile investments though. My deus II has paid for itself already.. Good luck with the manticore. It does look good 👍

Brilliant Henry. Good luck on your new adventure with the Manticore. I've heard that you shouldn't run your stability much above 4 or you'll start to miss targets amongst the iron and mineralised soil. If you can run it with no filters and get used to the soil and chatter. See you on the next.

Never thought I'd see the day you officially join the dark side Henry, but fair play to you for investing your hard earned money into the Manticore. That thing will pay for itself in a year or 2. Them counterfeit George III's are quite common in Derbyshire, I've got a good collection including a couple half crowns, a bank token and half a dozen shillings. Always cool to find. See ya tomorrow
