Law is in favour of women. If an woman seeks divorce, it is granted very easily. But if a man files an application for divorce, the case may lingers on to such a period that the man becomes old. Where is Art. 14 i.e., equality before the law and eqal protection of law? Mr. Tahir Shams as a renouned and experienced journalist you are well aware the fact that many innocent women who are exploited and genuinely require the protection of laws never seek for it just to for the sake of bright future of their children and to save their family life. But many cleavour women taking the advantage of existing laws which are in favour of women, become arrogant to their inlaws and even to their husbands. Their parents also support such a beheaviour. In many cases such a beheaviour triggers for the act of crime.

@suekumar1077 I have just said about the social and psychological reasons that trigger the crime. It does not imply that one should kill a person. I mean to say that the process of divorce should be made easy. Such henious crimes do happen in Western nations because divorce is not so tough there as in India under the Hindu Code of Law.
