I've been in the USA in 2017 and 2019! I love your log cabin, here in Italy we don't use too much wood to built a cabin, as you seen

It is amazing to see a stone cabin, and watching you struggle with your stone step, it shows the great skills that would have been applied to build the cabin on a slope! Hope you and your wife can fulfill your dreams.

Thank you very much, you are very kind. Maybe one day I'll try to interview the man who rebuilt it after the Second World War, he's still alive. I don't know if he will accept, but I can try 🙏

@@mywildlifeitalia There is so much history to the cabin, and talking to the man who rebuilt it, would preserve that for future generations.

Hi! r u doing? I've been to the States twice, but haven't had the pleasure of visiting your State. So, I answer your question 😉: I can't hunt wild boar or other animals for two reasons. I don't have a hunting license and this is not an area where hunting is allowed. I have no idea how hunting grounds are defined. So i can only go to the supermarket if i want some meat lol 😅

That natural spring fountain at the beginning is so sweet ...just imagine several thousand years ago perhaps some of the water near your mountains eventually ended up in Rome via the aqueducts ....I've heard a few arches are still standing ...they must have been incredible engineers to only use gravity to move the water hundreds of miles! Also isn't "Bread and Chocolate" a movie? If you had added marshmallows and graham crackers you would have had smores (sp?)... a great American camping tradition ...especially children''s camps. You look like a sweet and loving couple with generous souls. God Bless & Ciao! ~Tara (Kindlydude's wife) 🍀💐🐦❤💙❤💛💙 P.S. I love hearing you both speak Italian! It gives non-speakers a chance to listen & learn!!

Hi (Ciao) , sorry for the delay in responding! But do you know that my wife was born in Rome? She lived her entire childhood there. And it's true, the arches of the aqueducts and fountains still stand. The ancient Romans had developed a mortar-like compound that made tunnels waterproof. They are amazing projects. Take care! Ciao! (bye, in italian we use the same word for both meaning) 😊🙏

Hello from Belgium ; great episode ; For the heating of the small room, do you plan to install a wood stove or an open fire? For 20,000 euros, it's really a little paradise in the mountains and a good investment. Can't wait for more videos.Great job

Hi Alain, thanks for the compliments! Once all the spaces between the stones have been closed, the fireplace should be enough to heat the room, however we also thought of installing a stove later in time

I just came across your videos and started watching some of them and I found them to be very pleasing. It’s great to have dreams and fulfilled them. Your plans for the cabin are reachable with time , patience and of course, with a lot of labor. It’s unfortunate that you cannot drive up to your cabin, which would make it easier to bring in supplies, materials, and tools. It’s unfortunate that the Piemonte region has been having a lot of rain this year. Do you live in the Piemonte region? Are you and your wife Piedmontese? That’s where I was born in the Piedmontese region. I love listening to your wife speak Italian. I wish you luck in fulfilling your dream. I’ve been watching other peoples videos who have bought cabins/houses in the Piemonte region. It’s a great region of Italy.

Hi, thank you first of all for your kind words. We are not Piedmontese, both my wife and I come from other regions of Italy. The road is really a problem, and I will have to deal with it sooner or later also because I have already had a misadventure with the car and then, as you say, the materials weigh. I try to make the cabin comfortable in the meantime, so it will also be easier for me to understand how to deal with the road problem. Thanks for watching my videos, I'm happy you found them enjoyable. Until next time!

se diamo un valore al lavoro di costruzione e posa delle pietre possiamo dire che il prezzo della baita sia irrisorio. aggiungiamoci il fatto di possedere un fazzoletto di terra... siamo ricchi!
