I watch a lot of SA Soccer podcasts, but this one has a very unique feel to it. Its really starting to grow on me. Just two suggestions/requests from me: Topic 1- Can you do an episode doing Jersey number retirements and discuss how teams can un-retire Jerseys because we need new generations to embrace legendary jersey numbers. Especially no10 from Pirates and no 15 from Chiefs. We need to see the new players donning these numbers and see how they carry the weight of these jerseys. Topic 2- Can you do match analysis episodes with both former players and fans. It will bring a variety to the show. Thanks.

I don't know what's wrong at Cheifs Bra Jabu , good structure for development players to be promoted into first team , The Under 17 won the league I think, the only way for cheifs to go back to its glory days , development players need to play for the institution and atleast 4 outside players , cause development play for pride not money , if we observe Barcelona, it had 5 development players in the squad when it was the best team in Europe , I believe in development

But guys can you really compare Sundowns and supersport? Sundowns is competing in the continent representing the country and supersport develops and sells players to sustain the team, break even. Even chiefs and pirates do buy from supersport.... Where Mbatha coming from? Where is Maswanganyi coming from? Just to mention a few. How many players do chiefs and pirates develop? They buy most of their players the difference is that they don't buy most of their players from the same team.... Football is business and your team's wanna get players for free....

@@JabuMahlanguDiskiShandis Like you say in this episode thing went sideways at Chiefs though I suspect in his 2nd season there besides his game dropping the team itself also wanted him out behind the scenes the way they were fielding him and gametime, juslt like it happened with Majoro, Torrealba is not a player who scored a lot of goals but he is a striker who could hold the ball and make other players play, K.Musona was the same and the team never had a problem with him even though he didn't score a lot

The PSL is better than North Africa in terms of talent, the difference between the two is the lifestyle. In North Africa they live a different lifestyle of a good diet, they don't date there are marriages every week, no sex when fasting, Arab countries have no alcohol. This helps them to be strong in the field, it has nothing to do with talented players. All players in the world who were very successful are Muslims who played to old age and only a few who are not Muslim became successful. From Anelka, George Weah, Salah, Mane and many MORE. Jabu, can you touch on the subject of power, can players get rid of a coach, can a coach, get rid of a player, can fans get rid of players and coaches or the power remains forever with CEO, or team manager, or technical director?
