If Melissa had selected "Clown College" which was a $1,000 word and her team had gotten it, they would have won the game, instead of it being a tie. I thought a good clue for "Clown College" would be "Ronald McDonald's University."

If you watched "The Flintstones," you might get it. If not, it would probably be hard to get. I noticed the older lady answered "Bedrock." She probably watched "The Flintstones" as a kid back in the 1960's when they were on prime time tv.

@ rosalindlively677-- I also watched the Flintstones in the 1960's. Their town of Bedrock might not be on the top of my tongue, but if I had enough time to think about it, I would probably come up with it. I can remember that the original sponsor of the Flintstones in the early 1960's was Winston cigarettes. The commercials had the Flintstones characters in the Winston cigarettes commercials. My dad watched a few episodes with me, and he was very upset that they were promoting cigarettes to kids. There are some Winston cigarette commercials with the Flintstones on KZbin.

"There's the" as a clue for "rub" was not too good. Other than that he was actually doing pretty well in the money round. Better luck next ep.

The clues for turnip were vague. I would have said opposite "radish".

Great game. There's the rub was a surprising clue--perhaps if he'd added Shakespeare, they would have picked up on it?

Shang Tsung for Mortal Kombat is sort of a deep cut. He's definitely a main character but I don't think most would mention that as a clue. It worked though so who cares!
