Love your Vlogs, as an ex-CB radio user from the late '80s (was a bit of a wheeler-dealer) The amount of money I made on sets that were protection diode fixes was crazy! I'm curious as to where you learned your electronics expertise. It's pretty good.

Back in the late 80's and 90's i was a TV repair engineer with C+G qualifications ,electronics always have been my passion and i also was into CB in the 80's.

Nice project been trying for ages to do something similar for a few project radios i have but im crap at code. Will have to get back into it when i get a break from fixing customers radios etc

Very Interesting, now that it's getting harder finding these actual xtals.

Spectrum still do replacement xtal sets for these radios , for how long who knows.

59 COX Board xtals in the 10Mhz range are very rare, just for dropping in without modding the circuit. Or eprom the n-code change for a 10.24 ref xtal. I'm sure you know what I'm getting at. So this was interesting as regards these xtals.

Hi,will this crystal generator board ve available to purchase ? Brother has a Tristar 747 that is ripe for conversion.. By the way is the board compatible with a concorde 2 with the 121

I’m not sure about selling these yet . Until it’s fully tested , it should work in a conc2. This board does not have the fine tune working yet only coarse tune .
