Nice … Tim’s TARDIS it even looks bigger inside than outside. Such a lovely day it was too. Looking forward to you next offering.

Thanks Chis. Yes there's more than enough room in there for me.

Tim, it was a lovely detour. Did you find some nice pastries at the French supermarket? Very nice scenery and the bird sounds seem to follow you. Onward and upward, Tim.
@TimsTrikeTrips3 ай бұрын
Nah, supermarket pastries aren't as good as the artisan ones. But sometimes there just isn't any choice 🤷🏻♂️

I'm just looking at the roof's on all those houses and thinking "It must snow quite a bit there in the winter given how steeply they are angled."
@TimsTrikeTrips3 ай бұрын
Yes I had the same thought. Many of them have small hooks built into the roofing above the doors. I'm guessing it stops the snow from dropping onto you when you slam the door shut 😄

Looked like a really good riding day. Is that region still called Alsace-Lorraine? Changed 'hands' many times in the 19th and 20th centuries between France and Germany. Canal must have reminded you of your travels around your old home. That tent is much bigger on the inside than on the outside. Cheers!

Ah. Well done Leo. I just did some reading too. Looks like they were probably speaking the Alsation Dialect which sounds pretty German to the untrained ear. Thanks for that 😉👍

Liked the Dr Who tent sequence 😊. I never could figure out that series... And BTW, just where exactly is this trip going to take you? Our summer monsoon season has started. Day before yesterday was a downpour with puddles in places I'd never seen before! Now it's 104F with 40% humidity instead of the usual 20%. Thank goodness for AC😉. Pedal on mate!
@TimsTrikeTrips3 ай бұрын
Where? No idea. That's half the fun 🤷🏻♂️😄 I'm quite literally making this up as I go along. I'm still in and out of a monsoon myself 😉

Ahh seems like you missed the old centre of Strasbourg! I remember going there 3 years ago, it's really pretty there. Lots of these houses in German style. I mean I guess you've already seen many of them, but it's very pretty! Now you have to come back there once more 😉

I figured there must be more to it. But the Eurovelo didn't take me that way 🤷🏻♂️

Hey Tim, am in hospital at the mo, loving your relaxed presentation. A trike might be the only safe way to ride again, not being able to trust my balance. Used to ride 400 miles a month. Sounds reasonable? Could need e- help, Either way thanks. 👍
@TimsTrikeTrips3 ай бұрын
Hey Russel, I hope you get better soon. My trike journey started for the same reason. An injury, an operation and the resulting neuropathy led me to where I am. Go for it. It'll put a smile on your face every ride. I only wish I'd found the trike sooner. All the more fun with e-assist too 👍

Hi Tim, Already ep. 16, waaw. It feels as if you just started. But a gues your legs will tell a different story by now. So, how far have you pedaled so far, and how far still to go. Thanks again for the nice video of the beautifull houses and stunning scenary along the canal.

Up to the date of this video (June 4th?) I think I'd done 500+ miles. I'm still going today (June 25th). It'll go on for as long as I'm not bored I guess 😁 There really is no plan you see, ha ha.

I recently setup my good old MSR hubba 1 person tent that I called home for about 6 months, I'm thinking of upgrading to this type as my girlfriend has shown interest in camping someday... would love it if you could do a review on it after or during the tour!

These are already in a playlist on my channel. I may also put them altogether as a supercut one day. Thanks for watching.

How far are you planning on going on your trip? It has been interesting seeing all the places you have gone. I tried looking you up on Ride with GPS but the there are only a couple of rides in there for TimsTrikeTrips up to 8 June. Are you currently still riding or done with the tour and just publishing videos?
@TimsTrikeTrips3 ай бұрын
There are some on Ride with GPS? I had no idea, thanks. I'm not planning a direction, a distance or a duration. Yes I'm still going (25th June) and I'll be sure to let everyone know as soon as I stop. Until the videos publish I'm trying to keep future directions unknown... don't want any spoilers you see 😉👍

Hi Tim, Has that tent ever leaked and do you have a problem with condensation? Thanks!
@TimsTrikeTrips3 ай бұрын
Leaked? Yes... but only because I put a small hole in it... now patched. Condensation? Always an issue. But then I've never had a tent yet that didn't 🤷🏻♂️
@abingtonmg3 ай бұрын
Thanks! I bought the American version of the one man tent, thus, no screen door and different colors. I haven't used it in the rain, but saw a few KZbin videos that told me it leaks.

@@abingtonmg well after the weather I've had to endure over the last 4 or 5 weeks I can say, with some authority, its a quality item. I do occasionally spray the waterproofing solutions on it too though. Maybe that has helped 🤷🏻♂️

Those houses and towns not only sound German but look German and almost British some of them - which would make sense. Just because you move the border it doesn't change the people, good for them, trei bien mes ami! Very Kraftwerk musik

Yes, it really didn't feel like France at all which, as you say, it shouldn't if the locals don't feel French either. 👍
