Hi Andrew, thanks so much for the message! Apologies for falling behind with our editing! I dare say we are getting more organised, so hopefully will start posting more frequently again now.

@@sailingsoraya thank you our sailboat is 31ft and no where near the space yours at 30ft has! What an incredible design, we fell off our seats when we heard 700 Litres of water!!! What?? Where???

Hi, just found your site and have enjoyed the ones we’ve watched so far. Lill is particularly interested in your comments about the Omnia oven so we watched a couple of KZbinrs where they were demonstrating the oven and it seemed pretty tricky with them burning the base of cupcakes and bread. We were hoping we could contact you to discuss it a bit further. Rod & Lillian (Sapphire of London)

Thanks Cal! It appears to have divided opinions.. :) but it's been a great topic of conversation and source of some fun jokes along the way.

I just came across your video for the first time, loved the tour and I must say what an outstanding job fitting a 30" into a palace job well done. Enough for now and looking forward to more adventures on sailing Soraya and her crew of three!

Hi guys. Great vid and an awesome boat. Tell me, did she once have a red hull as I think I made an offer on her back in 2008? The interior and rose sink are unforgettable (and I had my reservations as you did) Obviously an unsuccessful offer!
@sailingsoraya Жыл бұрын
Hi Rick, thanks for the message! Soraya had a red stripe at one stage, but but not a red hull. I understand a boat builder in QLD purchased the moulds around the late 90’s/ 2000’s and made a handful (I know of at least 3) of these little gems - all crafted with the same interior :) . Hope you were successful and found your dream boat in the end!

Great vid , did you get any waves further north than DI
@sailingsoraya2 жыл бұрын
Hi Craige, thanks very much. No we didn’t surf past DI. Some of our friends have surfed at Great Keppel, Musgrave and Lady Elliot.. but the conditions were not right for us at the time.

Great video to get an idea of your home. Thank you. I was wondering what size house battery bank you have? Also, what size alternator did you increase to? Thanks. Clint
@sailingsoraya2 жыл бұрын
Hi Clinton, thanks for watching! We have 2 x 120 Ah AGM house batteries, and we upgraded from a 55 Amp to an 85 Amp Alternator.

Was the conversion from Seatalk NG to NMEA 2000 with your Garmin very difficult? Did you follow a reference on the internet?
@sailingsoraya2 жыл бұрын
Hi Andrew, Unfortunately I don't know how this was done... the marine electrician set it all up as part of the installation. It was a relatively quick process, so I don't believe it was a difficult job.
