When This is Us aired I never watched it. I had no interest in a sappy, sad, drama series. Fast forward to last month. My daughter and sister were talking about the show and watching the series for the second time. They both love it and told me I have to watch. My husband and I started binge watching. From the first episode I.WAS.HOOKED!!! I love all the characters. I love all the guest stars. I love the writing. I love the way the stories unfold every episode. Honestly, everyone who watches and enjoys the show needs to watch the series at least twice simply because there are details I probably overlooked the first time around. This podcast is great. I enjoy hearing the behind the scenes stories. You all seem to really like each other as well. 😊

Yeah there was nothing sappy about it. As you found out. Just a brilliantly written, cast and acted reflection on life.

Chrissy Metz was so good in the drumming scene, them discussing it here made me cry all over again. Such a powerful piece of storytelling.

I binged watched it in 2 weeks of watching every night. It was so good I could not stop. I loved the show so much I drove my family crazy with talking about it. I feel that I missed a lot by doing it. I now watch each episode on the day of the pod cast so that I can follow along. I love taking my time and enjoying the acting, the writing and each story line. Thank you for this amazing show.

I agree with Mandy. Binge watch instead of one episode per week with breaks in between hits totally different. I binge watch the show a few months ago and It was brutal, very emotional and it took a toll on me. The experience is diferent. You noticed more characters traits that you missed before. It's quite the experience. I had already watched the show when it was on air, so I knew everything but you still forget or miss a few things here and there. And the feels... ufff. For all the newbies binge watching for the first time, brace yourselves and go ahead and by tons of tissues.

This show means so much to me and helped me through so much. I started watching this show with my mom when it first came out and we loved it so much and cried almost every episode together… she died before the last season came out so when I finished the show by myself I was completely shattered. Rebecca reminded me so much of my mom.

When Sterling says "I have 5 years left," that is so Jack.❤ I started to do the rewatch week by week, but then I have had this month off work and started binging. It is a different experience completely, but the details are fresh and so I am picking up soooooo much more this time around. It's true there is a lot of information, but that also means that things get forgotten from episode to episode and season to season. It is insane how many times I have said, "I completely forgot about that!"

I watched the show this summer in a week and one day, it was so hard i cried all day every day but i could not stopped watching. I wasn't emotionally ready to handle this series in 2016 and I steered clear. Until recently, and I just finished the final episode last night. What a truly beautiful, authentic, gut-wrenching piece of storytelling. There were so many similarities and reflections (for me personally), which helped me so much with my grieving/healing process. The Pearson's were the family I needed right now. ❤ "When the world puts something that obvious in front of you, you don't just walk away."

I think because Jack is always focus on the kids having great birthdays and doesn’t mention it. Even when the triplets were being born. He mentioned the babies being born on his birthday like “ that will be cool if they were born on my birthday” but he wasn’t fixated on the idea. He cared more about having 3 healthy birthdays.
