Hello Teacher Kaye, I accidentally watched your video on Facebook Watched and I looked up for you here. Sana po ay mapansin ninyo ang comment ko because I have concern about my daughter. She's turning 7 this year and incoming grade 1. She has speech-language delay. She said her first clear word at age of , 4 &half..we consulted developmental pedia that time and accdg to her, my daughter might have speech delay. Nag undergo Ng EEG at BAER and normal findings Naman po result. Then nirefer ANG anak ko for behavioural- speech therapy, naka 6 months po Doon. And because of financial status that time, nahinto po ang therapy nya, at dun sya Nagsimula magsalita. Hanggang sa sunod sunod na words na nasasabi nya. From 4 years old up the now, lahat nasasabi nya at nagagawa mga pinagawa namin..even school works and modules, natatapos nya. Now ang concern Lang po about SA kanya is hirap po sya sa expressive language, it's difficult for her to answer why questions. But easy for yes or No. And kapag naglelesson ang teacher nya, kapag discussion Lang, Hindi sya interested, but if there's a pictures materials, active na active sya. One more things about her is she only understand in English language and very few in Tagalog. I think Yung pagkahilig nya sa paggamit Ng phone and tablet, nakaapekto sa social development nya. Madalang din po sya na makapaglaro sa mga kapwa nya bata Kasi wala Kami Kapitbahay or kapamilya na mas bata SA kanya. Pero sa school, nakikipaglaro Naman nya sa classmate nya. All in all, ang pinakaconcern po about sa kanya is her difficulty to express her thoughts, Kaya iiyak na Lang sya kapag Hindi nya nakuha or nagawa ang gusto nya. Paano po Kaya ANG dapat gawin Teacher Kaye. I'm a solo parent at dati po akong OFW, but i decided umuwi para matutukan ang anak ko. Salamat po Kung mapapansin nyo po itong comment ko.

Hi! Here are my suggested video for an 8-month old. "Dubbing" kzbin.info/www/bejne/a6m6fXt6m99_kMU First sounds: kzbin.info/www/bejne/o4WWmn6ieb2rqcU Episode 12 on Action Songs kzbin.info/www/bejne/j5fRZJx8nrmeoqs Episode 44 on pointing kzbin.info/www/bejne/f5avo3-cjM6ljLM How to read books to babies kzbin.info/www/bejne/iJjElqGbptGjisU And remember that babies from 0-2 years should have no exposure to hyperstimulating videos (or children with delays or disorders). Hope these help!

Hi teacher Kaye. pwede na po ba ito for a 14 month old? he doesn't know how to point out yet and not really good at communicating what he wants to do. Even if you ask him "where do you wanna go?". he just wants to be picked up and carried.

Yes, you can try to do this as early as 1 year old, with very familiar daily items ex: spoon versus cup, towel vs toothbrush when you're doing your daily routines. It doesn't need to be done as a table top activity. Here are my favorite video for stimulating pre-verbal kids: - episode 41 on Following commands kzbin.info/www/bejne/pKeUhYSAq5yriNU - episode 12 on Action Songs kzbin.info/www/bejne/j5fRZJx8nrmeoqs - episode 44 on pointing kzbin.info/www/bejne/f5avo3-cjM6ljLM - episode 13 on Yes/No kzbin.info/www/bejne/bGW2pKWBnMagnrM - on providing more opportunities kzbin.info/www/bejne/mYeaZX5qmt5gnck - on creating more obstacles kzbin.info/www/bejne/aai3g4iAaNyghcU And then for ALL the times you are together, practice this way of speaking: kzbin.info/www/bejne/a6m6fXt6m99_kMU This kind of stimulation makes it so the child has greater chances to pick up a new word every day! If the child has screen/gadget exposure, stop for an experimental period of at least 2 weeks, and observe for changes or improvement in behavior. No matter how short the time spent watching, no matter the content (whether we think it’s education or not), if a child is already delayed, best to remove the factor that could be contributing to it. See explanation of the effects of screen time to baby brains here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/hZ69p6CqYpuNq8k See signs of screen addiction here: instagram.com/p/CRJYfz7j_wq/ Hope these help! ✨

@@TeacherKayeTalks I just try this everyday teacher Kaye. Just once a day, I try it with his toys. With cars and airplanes. Until he understands what I’m doing it for.
