Wow! I never expected so many new fawns this year! Some are brave and come up to me. Others are getting used to me. Some are just too shy. the mommas kept many of them hidden for a long time. Greta finally showed up with her fawn 10 weeks after having her. Mickey just showed up yesterday with her twin girls......first time I have seen her in 4 months! But it is always a fun time whenever they show up for a snack! I am amazed every day that they accept me as a friend of theirs!
I follow the DNR regulations closely for recreational deer feeding, including the use of corn.
Music by the incredible Christopher Tin! Check out his KZbin channel here:

1) Iza Ngomso-"Come Tomorrow" featuring the Soweto Gospel Choir
2) Sogno di Volare-"The Dream of Flight"
I own no rights to this music.

Hi Joyce! Yes, it was heart breaking to see them cry like that. We are not sure if Elly broke a leg or hip, or what. The neighbors down the road found her in their woods. Little Wrigley disappeared back in August. Birdie and Elly Mae are doing great, and come to visit me almost every day now. I am always so happy to see them doing well! Hi Jane. Yes,the boys love to play and can get a little rough at times. Some deer like apples, and others don't. Adrian (Elly's 2 yr old) never ate an apple while Elly was around. As soon as Elly died, Adrian decided she liked apples. Other apple lovers are Marcie, Greta, Zoe, and Maggie. Maggie has just learn to take them from my hand. :-)))

@flyfish0822
@flyfish0822 6 жыл бұрын

Wow you have sooooo many this year. We have about 6-8 they are so hard to keep track of. My 1 year old Twins Lady and the Tramp are so much fun. They prefer hand feeding or cup feeding their corn. They come every day. Little honey one of our fawns lost her mom two weeks ago today to the coyotes on the golf course. We are not sure what happened but the Honey is following around her Grandma named Mama since her Mom "Little Mama" went to heaven. But your advice was so helpful. We named them all. It rained for three days last week and they didn't come out. Then we came home the last day late like midnight and Tramp saw my SUV and he came running. When we parked in the garage and got out of the car and walked out of the garage there were 8 deer in the yard. I wish I could show you a pic or video our deer look so different.

That is so cool! I think it is wonderful that they come up to you, and that you have given them names. They don't really like the rain days too much here, either, but they really don't like the wind! It makes them nervous when it is blowing hard, I think because they cannot hear any danger signs as good, and makes them skittish. I would love to see a video if you can ever post one. There are free programs you can use online to make a video that you can upload to KZbin. There are many people that would love to see your videos, too. Best of luck to you and your furry friends! :-)))

Wonderful video and music thank you so much. Please forgive me for intruding but, I have to when I see a animal in trouble. The wild cat must be trapped and have his eye taken care. If your unable to do this, perhaps finding a rescue that deals with feral cats. If it’s not distemper then it’s at least a bad eye infection. And, it might spread to other animals. From what I’ve gathered, he could’ve in pain.

Hi Rebeka! I am happy you like the video and music! That poor kitty. I don't think it every had a home. It has been in the wild for at least two years. I even see it in the deep of winter in the side field searching for food. I was very surprised when it showed up here a few times like it was hoping to get some food from me. I couldn't get very close to it, but would put out a little mild or some canned chicken which it loved! It has only been here about 5-6 times in the last two months. It has a big raw spot behind it's left ear, too. I was hoping it would become friendly and come up to me so I can help it. I watch for it every day to see if it comes back.
