Father, I place my hope in You. You are my rock, my fortress, my deliverer. People may fail, but I depend on You. In Jesus’ name, amen.🙏🙏✝️✝️💜💜💖

Wow. It never occurres to me how complicated people make the Bible! It's the history of God's interaction with humankind and humankind's responses.

From my birth until where I live now at age 46 I have lived in 24 different homes. I never realized how many places I have lived until Mart asked that question. 24 homes is just craziness to me lol 😂 @Our Daily Bread, @Discover The Word - Love this 2 week study 📚 It’s amazing what you learn during a Bible study.💜🧡💙

Every product has a manual given by the manufacturer on how the product is used therefore the Holy bible is manual Almighty God gave us for us. This is the manual which describes us. and informs us who we are and why we are here on earth. It also gives us our purpose, for each of us have a specific, a special purpose in our life. The purpose is only known by the creator of the products therefore learning about who we really are we also learn a great deal about creator.

I also see the advantage of the Tabernacle and the pillars of cloud and fire from the LORD daily with the ancient Israelites. They were given constant visual/physical manifestations of God's presence with them, so His presence was undeniable. In today's world, we sometimes lose awareness of his constant presence and have to look deeper to be reminded. In this way, we can take His presence for granted or even forget that He's always with us, even when it may not seem or feel to be so. This comment is simply expounding on a point made in the second section of this week's discussion.

@@ourdailybread My pleasure And thank you all for posting these Discover the Word talks on the KZbin platform. They are much easier to listen to than on the website (have to click each day's portion of the talk). This way if much easier to listen to while laying/sitting down, and especially when driving in the car. You guys rock❣️

Again, excellent time in the Word. My thoughts are that, like prayer, the Tabernacle is for us. Gid doesn't need to pray or have a place to dwell. We need it. My second thought is that the Holy objects of the tabernacle became things of idolatry. For instance, in I Samuel 4, the Israelites took the Ark out to the battle against the Philistines like it was a talisman, a good luck charm. Before I can say that I would never, ever do that- do I hold my pastor up as a hero, like God Himself? Or my church as the best on the planet? So I check my heart and make sure that it is focused on my Jesus. Him and Him alone.
