🌀SPIN DIARY🌀
I am 91 days into the #100daysofspinningchallenge! My rolags are now in skein form! I am about halfway through spinning my dark purple Coriedale Fiber on my EEW Nano 2.0 aka “Eelliot Stapler.” I’ve also begun to spin the 100% NSW Shaniko fiber from Cesium Yarn. WOW! It’s my new favorite fiber!!

Thank you for being honest about struggles with gauge! I NEVER meet gauge and just try to get stitch count as close as possible (never mind row count!). I have not ever watched a knit you tube video where the knitter admits struggling or frogging due to gauge. So, bless you! I am going green with envy about Scotland. When you set it up can you include spaces for singles that are willing to share a room? The increased cost for singles on the Ireland trip is what kept me from going. Hi from Canby, Oregon!

Yes, frogging is my constant companion! Since filming this podcast, I am not on CAST ON ATTEMPT NUMBER 5 (!!!!!) for the purple Grettir. I think this one will be the one. Or at least I hope! 😂 And we have a system like this already in place where participants traveling alone can indicate while booking whether they have a willingness to share a room, although we can not guarantee that the numbers will always allow for any or all solo travelers to buddy up with another participant. I’ll be sure to make this clear on our tour landing page! Excited you may be joining for a future trip! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿💜

Dont be surprised if your Merino/Ramboullet yarn has an elastic quality to it. Im talking more than normal. I love rambo for that quality. My first hand spun sweater has a lot of rambo in it and there fore is short because of it. Your spinning is coming along great.
