Hi Teacher Kaye. Halos lahat po yan binili ko sa anak ko at malaking tulong talaga naeenjoy niya. Pero books po talaga pinakagusto nya kaya 3yo palang marunong na magbasa. Going 5 na po siya ngayon. Inistop ko for 1month ang screentime. At nakatulong para makipag usap siya,dati tamad ibuka ang bibig pag may kelangan. Ngayon atleast nag nasesentence na siya unlike before na 1word lang. Nagsabi din siya ng "I miss you" nung minsan umalis ako sa bahay. Di po siya diagnosed pero delayed speech po siya at tingin ko may hyperlexia. Nanonood lang po ako sa inyo para makakuha tips. Waiting parin po kasi ako sa free consultation sa PGH. Thank you po

Thank you teacher Kaye, nappraning akong makapanood sa ibang nag vvlogger pero pagdating sau mas nakakaintndi ako at hndi masydong nag aalala. sobrang salamat po. napakalaking tulong nyo po sakin. Im having trauma anxiety sa anak ko sa sobrang praning ko nag ooverthink ako talaga. Thank you so much nababwasan pag inum ko ng exulten. 😘

I dont know if its connected.. pero mas okay ang sleep pattern ng toddler ko ngayon simula nung nag oopen kami ng books and ill read or sing for him.. esp if he likes it like brown bear what do you see vs sa more on screen time

Hi! I had to search what it was because I haven't seen one! My impression is this: if it is used for simple concepts like books on first 100 words or such, I'd advice against it because the function can easily be done in interactions with another person. Short answer: I always prefer human communication for more meaningful learning experiences. They may be nice as a SUPPLEMENTARY material, maybe after you've gone through the books together multiple times first. For the going price of the really good quality ones, parang hindi lang masyadong sulit for something you can do yourself. On another note, I have friends who use these for LANGUAGE LEARNING for their kids, and they don't know the language themselves e.g. the child has Chinese in their academic curriculum, but no one in the household speaks it. This would probably be the type of scenario I'd recommend these for. Hope this helps you decide!

Hi Teacher Kaye, A ninang of my toddler gave him simple “puzzle toys” 3 shapes lang naman.. square, circle and triangle but napansin ko hindi siya masyado interested. I mean he tried naman and he was able to match the shapes pero after ayaw na niya and it seems like he’s not interested. Is that normal?

Hi Maybelle! Kung nanonood ang bata ng videos sa TV o sa gadgets, itigil muna ito, kahit 2 linggo muna, dahil may epekto ito sa language development ng mga bata. Kung walang ibang kalagayan ang bata, asahang makakita ng pagbabago sa kanyang attention, at maaaring maenganyong mas magsalita ang bata. Hi Anne! Usually okay, but dahil nasabi mong may suspeted Autism, and napapansin mong parang nadidiri siya, maaaring may sensory issues siya sa pakiramdam ng paint. Sana makatulong ang video na ito tungkol sa Sensory Integration: kzbin.info/www/bejne/qn21hJ6ujd2oqa8 It is okay to expose the child to different things, kasi dito natin malalaman kung alin ang gusto at ayaw niya. Kapag makita na natin na ayaw, wag po nating ipilit (unless sabi ng OT / SP ayon sa ibang technique), kasi ang importante ay mag-enjoy ang bata sa nilalaro niya. Diyan sila pinaka-maraming matutunan, kapag masaya sila. ✨

Kapag ung bata po ay may delay ano magandang toys?

Ito rin po, but mas magandang alamin kung anong level na po ng play behaviors para makapag-target ng missing play behaviors. Halimbawa kung ang bata, yun paglalaro niya ay dumping and banging pa lang, gusto natin ituro na pwede ding mag-shoot, or magpasok ng gamit sa loob ng container. Kung 2 years old na, yung inaasahang play behaviors are object appropriate na. Meaning, yung car pinapagulong na, or kunwaring nag-dadrive. Start of pretend play na rin po ang toddler years, so kailangan yung toys that will encourage pretend tool use, like luto-lutuan 🥳
