For all the people who have an issue with the blindfold coming off, a real blind date is not a LITERAL blind date. You just don’t meet the person until you show up to the date so this concept is way more realistic than the one before. I definitely don’t think he picked off of looks. The first two ladies were beautiful and he was originally going to eliminate girl number 4 until that comment about Maryland being further. I think he did great, and the vibe with girl 4 was just naturally there. & I don’t care which way you flip it some attraction has to be there, I think it was very smart of them to allow him to hear them first and then be able to put a face to what he was hearing before eliminating anyone. That is the best chance for this segment to have successful matches and I think Eric did an amazing job with truly going off what he was feeling and hearing, not basing it off of looks, don’t get me wrong she’s very pretty but you can tell he truly liked her energy cause shit I did as well lol. It was great and a great concept. Great job you guys!

Eric, I'm happy for you, and I see how intentional you're being in finding a life partner. I know it's tough. I can also see that you have a type, and you naturally gravitate towards that, which is cool. Can I offer a suggestion? I think you'd do well with someone who provides intellectual banter and someone who challenges your mind. I think some of the choices you made on this show pique your interest initially but may not hold it long term. And you'd get bored. I also think that what might ultimately work for you might not come in the package you're naturally drawn to.
