Ep. 2 - Future-proof robotic palletizing system built for continuous transformation

Unilever has invested €5.3 million in a futureproof central palletizing system in Romania.
Built to satisfy the site’s growing and ever-transforming production demands, this palletizing system featuring 8 robotic cells, is connected to 28 packing lines, and has an overall capacity of 98 pallets per hour.
The palletizing hall includes hundreds of meters of conveyors, four pallet shuttles and two stretch wrappers. Robot palletizers bring full flexibility, easy implementation of new palletization pattern and immediate changeover, only selecting the palletization pattern.
