[Ep.2]: How to get into Medicine at Wits via GEMP and WAPT|| Beauty's Journey

I am so inspired, Im in 4th year for my diploma in nursing(Psychiatry, community, general nursing) and midwifery to qualify as a nursing sister. Next year on my comserve year Im planning to apply for BHSc Medical Labotory Science at TUT or UJ to get into the GEMP because going for the honors degree in nursing from diploma is 3 years full time after 2 years work experience in speciality ward e.g if i wanna be an advanced midwife, after comserve I have to work for 2 years in gynae and obstetrics then Ill be able to apply to get the honors in nursing. so BHSc will be the fastest route to take. thanks for giving me hope

Medunsa also never replied n that tore me apart. UCT rejected me for medicine. Wits took me a bit late but I couldn't go due to short notice, complications n finance (no accommodation), also messed me up. Your story inspires me a lot. Keep pushing and Thank you so much for sharing💞💯👍.

Hey. Thanks for this video. Do you know whats the exact cut-off average to be considered for Gemp? Many people on KZbin keep saying aim higher and that's not practical for me.

Hello 🌸 I really like your question, I would personally say the cutoff is 70% for the degree average, but will try find out more for you, we normally say aim higher to encourage you and make sure that you get in because some students have their averages at 90s and high 80s
