Hi Thames Valley, Just like to say how impressive your work ethic is and top level work. Im an ex high pressure welder, who came across bricklaying and fell in love with it and practice in my garden. I find attention to detail is massive, brings top level work in whatever skill you may have. I find myself watching you lads Charlie Collinson and The Rob Songer who I think may be out on his own in skill level. Thanks again great videos👍

Nice workmanship, used to build high end homes same jointing also with the 2nd hand recycled bricks in West chiltington and storington for townsend homes , loved doing the traditional flintwork also ...seeing your videos makes me miss this work ....Australia it's about what sells for cheap ...

love a bit of knapped flit mate. Built a whole house out of that years ago with brick quoins. looked the nuts. I also spent time in australia. laying those hollows up in NT! Good memories mate

a pair of brickie's from Swindon showed me the easiest way of laying flint stone. build brick quoins and then place a plank up against it , roofing batten to support at approx 45 degree angle nailed to plank and scaffold. fill in behind placing flint against inside of plank. when you reach the top of plank de nail from scaffold and push plank up ,re nail and rinse and repeat. used to lay a good meterage .

Hi, have you done a video about the physicality/ physical challenge of bricklaying? I think I saw you joking about needing a new hip at quite a young age. I think that it was perhaps not a joke? and I imagine that the job can be really physically challenging and tiring..
