EP 21. LOMOND HILLS CRACKER - 60KM GRAVEL RIDE

Lovely 60km gravel ride starting at Unorthodox Roasters in Kinross. The route takes you round Loch Leven, into the Lomond Hills Regional Park up to John Knox's Pulpit, down to Harperleas Reservoir, up and round East Lomond Hill, down Purin Den into Falkland and then back to Loch Leven to complete the lap of the loch and close the second loop. We stopped at Falkland Estate cafe for lunch - about 40km in - which I would recommend.
All pretty straightforward with nothing too techy, just a couple of short sections of walking. Enjoy! Route #5 from the book 'Great British Gravel Rides' by Markus Stitz.

What a lovely route! I've been meaning to get up into the Lomonds for some time but I had no idea they looked that good from a bike. I did a lap of Loch Leven in late summer, but thankfully with fewer walkers & other riders than you encountered!
