Hello Troopers. Never stop travelling. There's always something warm and cosy to see and do nearby. Fire place, cheese, wine, mushrooms, garlic, nature and smiles abound. :-)

the Russell falls area and serpentine dam are worth going to. The creepy crawley track is very short and worth the walk. stock up tho as i don't think i found many shops but it next to the world heritage area and worth it if you like wild.

Hi Steve! Thank you for the suggestions, we definitely put them on our list for the next time we visit Tasmania. We visited some spots in the last few weeks, however we were pretty unlucky with the weather, so we'll need to get back there another summer. /Sandra

We are planning on a Tasmania tour in our Troopy, and I was concerned about the cold weather in Tassy.....as I'm a softy. But the Island is supposed to have some the best fresh ingredients available, so that's a big draw card, especially as my good lady is a vegetarian too. As for me, I've heard about a really wonderful Japanese eatery and I would like to try that once I track it down.

hey guys im thinking of buying a troopy, but i have a few questions about them. what is the fuel consumption per 100 kms like? and also how is it to drive around the city? i know its not an ideal city car, but in between trips would it be alright? cheers!
@EverywhereTogether8 жыл бұрын
SkateMonksMedia heyhey! we average around 12-13 litres/100km, but it depends on your model and your driving habit too ;) It required a bit of time for us to get used to the bigger car, as we haven't had a 4wd before, but it's ok now :) you do have to look at all the "low clearance" signs and see if you fit in, usually at shopping centres in big cities! /peter

hmmm, starting to be attracted to vegetarian meals. Actually, anything off a bbq or a frying pan is attractive to me I suppose. Coffee is good camping of course - we use Aeropress.
@EverywhereTogether8 жыл бұрын
+above the fog hey there :) how is the taste of the aeropress? i like a good italian type espresso, does it come any near? thanks :) /Sandra
