I’m in the middle of catching up on your videos. I just want to say that I follow 3 or 4 cruising channels but I enjoy you two the most. You obviously get along well and that translates into your videos. One observation - you lay out your presentations without judgment, without preaching, and I think that is invaluable.. particularly when you point out environmental issues, like garbage in the seas. You don’t insult anyone’s intelligence and that is an excellent feature of your offerings. Sidescript: I’m an old sailor, working through the last few years of my second career so I can retire and then perhaps circumnavigate. I envy your youth, and your courage just casting off and going! Following seas!

Nice to see locations in our neighborhood. We have our boat in San Carlos, north of Guaymas. I really appreciate you both, and enjoy your focus on sailing, and fun. Hope to meet you out there somewhere, in the future. Thanks for being real....

This was one of your very best videos! Your choice of music was outstanding as well. Having visited Loreto on a cruise ship this Spring, it brought fond memories of how quaint and lovely it is. You mentioned hoe bad the bee's & wasps are there but I don't know the other bug mentioned. Your photography has never been better and it was nice to see how romantic you two are. So, are you going to put the boat up for awhile? If so, how long will we have to wait to enjoy your continued travels? Either way, love viewing your adventure Happy Holidays!!

So this was back in 2015, we went back to the states to work for 6 months then got back to Prism and headed south. Than you for the kind words, if you go to svprism.com you can see our perspective route as well as where we are right now. Cheers!

Guaymas? I thought you all were in Panama dropping in a new engine and getting ready to splash into the Caribbean? Anyway, I love this compendium of the best of the SoC.

We are almost exactly a year behind on our videos, well technically a year and a half but ep.24 will cover 6 months of summer and work in one episode plus getting the boat recomissioned and back in the water. We are in Panama as we speak, thinking we might turn on the new engine today!

Great video, you have inspired me to consider a Hans Christian sailboat to retire on and travel off the Pacific also, I have looked at 2 different 38" layouts and I felt they seemed small to your video of the interior of your 33" boat, have either of you seen a 38" and evaluated the interior layouts of these boats, did this become something that you considered in your purchase of the Hans Christian 33"? When do you think you will start your return to Mexico to continue sailing?

Like the videos and your joy of exploration. What does triggerfish taste like? The only thing that irks me is your pronunciation of the word, Isla. Think of Madonna's " Isla Bonita". In both words, the accent is on the next to last syllable, and the i is pronounced as a hard e.

what the hell's a bo bo?, horsefly? bloodsucking dragonfly? airborn venomous catfish?
@SailingVesselPrism
@SailingVesselPrism 8 жыл бұрын
We explained it in a previous episode, but bo-bos are little black flies that like to swarm your face, get in your eyes, nose and mouth. They do not bite but just annoy the hell out of you. I like the catfish idea though, sounds terrifying! Cheers!
