EP 23 Europe Road Trip - Plitvice Lakes | Split | Croatia |

EP 23 - We continued on our visit around Croatia, headed to the UNESCO World Heritage site of Plitvice Lakes. This place is absolutely spectacular with waterfall after waterfall. The stunning blue lakes are throughout the park and you can explore the park through many different routes. There really is a route to suite every ability and situation.
The kids loved the hike with the boat, walking past the waterfalls and then then the train back to Entrance 1.
We started from Entrance 1 and did programme C that had a hike, a boat and a train that returned us to the entrance which was very handy after the kids had done nearly 8k.
We then headed over to Split to explore the historic city on the West coast of Croatia. This place like so many in Croatia has so much history. We explored the old town and wandered around the marina before heading to the Museum of Illusions. This place was only a small museum but had plenty to do and experience.
